click to zoom. Hey everyone! I know I'm not active on scratch anymore, but I wanted to share a project I've been working on. Recently I took a trip to Japan with my family, and I was really intrigued by all the blind box figurines they have there, especially the humanoid ones. They're all so unique and interesting, and I wanted to try designing one of my own. It's been a longtime dream of mine to learn how to 3D model, so I designed this character in hopes of someday turning her into a figurine similar to one that you might find in a Japanese blind box. In terms of the actual design, I knew I wanted to create something with a unique silhouette. I settled on triangular-shaped clothing with sharp edges to contrast the soft expression. I wanted the colors to pop, so I chose bubblegum pink for the hair and bright yellow for the raincoat. I've always found oversized clothing very entertaining, so I decided to give her oversized sleeves and boots, because I think it adds a lot of character as well as visual intrigue. The eyes are a pale sky blue, because "ame/雨" means "rain" in Japanese. credits - pin for some references - hirono dolls (specifically fading) Thanks for checking out this project! Lmk if you guys want to see the 3D model (if I ever make it lol).
