The Cursed Child rewrite Chapter one: The whisper of rain Scorpius Malfoy was the only son of Draco Malfoy. He was quiet and kind. He was known for being almost the exact opposite of his father during his school years. Some say he should have been a hufflepuff, but he disagrees. He was going to his third year of hogwarts. Which means he’d have to deal with bullies and stupid teachers again. But at least his friends would be there. So he stood, waiting for the train. It was sprinkling when it finally pulled up. Looking at the red train, they smiled. “Father?” He asked softly, making Draco, his father, look at them. “Hmm?” “Do you think it’ll be a good year?” Draco smiled softly, adjusting his glasses. “You’ll have your ups and downs, but it’ll be okay. You have me and your friends.” Scorpius nodded in understanding. “Yeah, I love you Father” He hugged the older blonde man, which Draco returned. “I love you too Scor…” The smaller pulled away, grabbing his bags and stepping on the train. After a few minutes, Albus Potter found him. “Hey!” Albus moved Scorpius’ hair out of his face, sitting by him. Scorpius nodded, looking out the window. The rain poured down and onto the window. It sounded like a whisper, so soft and calming. Huso Longbottom opened the door, sitting down quickly. “It's pouring out there.” Scorpius nodded in agreement. Albus hugged his partner. “Love you.” Scorpius muttered. Albus smiled, petting Scorpius’ hair. Huso jokingly said “gay!” Which made Scorpius jump, “Yeah…like you” Huso rolled his eyes, fidgeting with his hufflepuff tie. Albus giggled, closing his eyes. He leaned onto Scorpius muttering a quick “stupid…”
