She fell in love with him and they ran away together. They were living in a barn and it was comfortable life. But when new twolegs moved in to the nest next door chaos struck… “Eagle!” Yelled Spider “there’s new twolegs in the nest!” “What? okay” Eagle replied clearly not concerned “But Eagle the brought dogs!” Now Eagle was concerned “it’ll be fine” he said as he her head “I suppose…” 8 NIGHTS LATER “Look at them” Eagle pointing his nose toward the two legs “ they’re so weird, do you see the fire?” “Yes” replied Spider “I hope none gets near us.” “Yeah…” THAT NIGHT… As the two legs open the door a small ember floats in… It lands on a straw bal. A fire starts. “Spider!! Run!!” Screamed Eagle “ I can’t!” She yelled back as the fire started to consume her “Spider!” He screamed again. There was no response… “Spider!” He croaked. after a few minutes fire came and put out the fire. “ hey John look at this” said the first two leg “A cat? Must have died in the fire” he said looking Down at it. A third two leg walked up “Oh, poor thing” she said after that they went back to work. Eagle found an old den under a tree and whispered “My mate is gone! What can I do!!” Then he whispered “ I know you can hear me my love. But I can’t hear you… what should I do?” Then a voice came and a shadowy figure appeared “spiderdawn?” Asked Eagle “Yes it is me…” “oh I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you…” he said as tears run down his face “it’s okay we all knew this day was coming” she replied softly “but not so soon!!” He said back “shhh it’s fine…” she said into his ear “sniff*” he smiles “thank you for all the happy memories we shared!” “That’s more like it! I love you…” she said as she fades away “ She is in a good place now…” whisper a other voice “I promise…” P.s the marks on Eagle are burns
