I wrote this poem a long time ago, but I think it deserves to be viewed by the public!
I’ve built you up in my head You’re on a pedestal reaching to the stars Leaning towards the sun I think you are the perfect guy In my mind, you have no flaws A perfect personality A perfect face A perfect body A perfect makeup overall But when you are on this pedestal and I am on the ground I am smaller than you It's just a height difference But you make it something much more In the sense that you are my superior In the sense that you don’t need me In the sense that I need you I don’t I don’t need you But you think I do But that is just your ego crying out because it needs a boost Your self-esteem is low and you need to feed off of mine Of course, you would never say that to my face You’ve been built up so high in my head I think it’s time to knock you down
