These aliens are able to generate simulations of different versions of earth using magic, all with living breathing creatures and inhabitants. Inside of these earths, the inhabitants have no idea they are in a simulation. Life is normal for them. The aliens will cast severe threats and plagues across their earths, observing how the inhabitants react, ending their current simulation (giant meteor impact is the most commonly used ending), and then running a new simulation using the data they gained. Quasar, on the other hand, found the destructive nature of their colleagues concerning. They wanted no part in this scientific research, and when this was found out, Quasar was sentenced to a fate much worse than anything they could have expected. Quasar was to be trapped inside of these simulations, sometimes multiple at a time, violently thrown around from planet to planet and left to suffer through the disasters the overlords conjured. To make the best out of their punishment, they now travel from earth to earth acting as a guardian angel to creatures in need. They have impeccable intuition and can tell where their help is needed. Using the same magic the scientist aliens use, Quasar is able to heal and protect anyone that requests their help.
