ˏˋ°•*⁀➷Havana’s POV “Could I please have that blanket?” I ask. The shop-keeper looks at me strangely. “It’s ten dollars,” she snaps. “I don’t think a street urchin like you would have that money.” I don’t, but this normally works. “Give me the blanket,” I repeat forcefully. As if in a haze, the woman nods and turns around to grab it. As she does, my eyes sweep the square, making sure no one else was there to witness it. It’s nighttime in the crossroads, but there still may be someone watching. “Here you go, miss,” the woman says. I turn back to see her holding out the blanket. “Thank you,” I reply. “This never happened.” She nods slowly as I grab the blanket and run. Normally I have about ten seconds before the person wonders what happened. This time it only take three before the owner raises the alarm. “I’ve been robbed!” I wince. She gave it to me; I just don’t know why she did. ˏˋ°•*⁀➷Ras’s POV The girl’s looks around the square; she is cautious. That’s good. She’ll make a perfect addition. “Jordana, go to that alleyway one the right. Cinder, you get the one on the left. If she makes a run for it, catch her and bring her here.” They nod and slip off into the night. I smile with satisfaction. That girl doesn’t know the extent of her own power. Hopefully she’ll be able to keep it… A sudden yell gets my attention; the shop-keeper has realized someone has taken her blanket. The girl isn’t running towards Jordana or Cinder, she’s running straight at me. Must I do everything myself? I hide behind a box, ready to catch her as she comes. She dashes right towards me, and I leap out. She gasps in terror and prepares to turn around, but Cinder and Jordana are coming up behind her. “Wha- what do you want?” She says. “No need to worry,” I reply. “I have a proposal, one that will get you off the streets.” She nods. “I’m listening.” ˏˋ°•*⁀➷Credits/next Song: Havana (totally not because of the character’s name lol) Pictures: Google Previous: none Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1060921835 First: this one!
