Powerup "Destroy a brick" gets used after you hit a brick, you will get a powerup, destroy a brick, and go through it like there was nothing there. To use powerup "Create a brick" move your mouse to the place where you want to create the brick, and click the mouse. You cant get a powerup from a brick you created.
