Narcissa's pov: "Draco Lucius Malfoy put that down!," Narcissa roared at her son as she ran to him, "Oh my god, oh my god. You could've been killed!" "It was just a wand, Mother," Draco scoffed as he put the wand away, "Honestly, I don't see what all the fuss is about" Narcissa sighed as she straightened her hair, "Just a wand? You don't know what it can do to you if you use wands that don't belong to you" "Is there anything you need?" a voice came from underneath a pile of wands. Narcissa sighed in relief as she noticed it was an old wandmaker. "Yes, my son is starting Hogwarts and he needs a wand" "Starting Hogwarts, eh?" The old wandmaker asked Draco who nodded, "Very well. How about we try this one, Mr....." "Malfoy" Draco answered "Ah, another Malfoy then" he gave a long stick with a sliver at the end, "Give it a little wave" Draco did as he told, and a soft, warm light filled the old wand shop "Ah," said the old wandmaker, "That's a powerful wand you have there. 10 inches, Harthorne wood, and a unicorn hair core" Draco smirked, feeling pleased with himself as Narcissa paid the wandmaker and left. They passed three girls scrambling to the wand shop they had just left. Who reminded Narcissa of somebody but she didn't dare say. Narcissa dropped Draco off at Madame Malkin's Robes for All Occasions to get his robes fitted and then headed off to Flourish and Blott's to get his school books. Narcissa walked the streets of Diagon Alley feeling a sense of hope. Although her son was going to Hogwarts at the young age of nine (two years younger than the average first-year) this would be the year her long-lost daughter, Isabell, would be starting Hogwarts too. 10 years ago, Narcissa had to give up Isabell to an orphanage because her ex-husband, Sirius Black, was framed for killing 13 muggles and was forced to divorce Narcissa for her and their child's safety. This shattered her heart but she decided to get over it quickly and found a new husband, Lucius Malfoy, and then had Draco. When Narcissa arrived at Flourish and Blott's she noticed a bushy-haired girl muttering to herself, "Isabell would like this..." She turned her head over. Isabell? she thought hopefully. To her disappointment, She wasn't The girl was too ugly to be her daughter. Hermione's pov: Hermione stood at Flourish and Blott's, She had just gotten her new robes and now was getting her schoolbooks (plus a few more) she turned to another bookshelves to find a book called 'Hogwarts a History' but stopped short when she noticed a grown woman with blonde hair and a pale face staring at her. Hermione wondered why. Had she broken a rule? Felling uncomfortable she quickly went to the counter to pay her things but was stopped slowly by the woman who stared at her. Narcissa's pov: Narcissa wanted- no needed to know if this girl knew Isabell. She needed to know if her daughter was still alive. Her heart pounded to her chest as she approached the ugly girl looked she was ready to pay for the books she had gotten. "Excuse me?" Narcissa said as she approached the girl but she had already left. Feeling hopeless, Narcissa bought the books for Draco and returned to pick him up.
I made Draco go to Hogwarts at age nine bc it works well with the timeline
