In case you don't know This was a live event called "Super Smash Bros Slamfest '99" which was an official promotional event for the North American release of Super Smash Bros on the N64 (Even using the same costumes from the comedy gold Smash 64 commerical) it was held at the MGM Grand Aventures Theme Park in Las Vegas Nevada on April 24 1999 and it was organized by Nintendo of America and public relations firm Golin/Harris the event featured a real life staged wrestling match involving Mario DK Yoshi and Pikachu performed in front of a live audience The wrestling match was live-streamed on the web via RealPlayer however there is no video footage of this event and the broadcast is considered lost media however we do have images and magazine articles about the event
