(drawing: unigen has 3 different forms) (sorry for the long backstory) he’s a normal 20 year old civilian who is currently in collage to be a doctor, he’s always liked the idea of helping people but lately he’s been going through an identity issue… he doesn’t know where he belongs who he is. in college he’s a quiet antisocial guy who sits in the front of the room and he has stellar grades. he notices that many people dislike him because they think he’s trying to show off that he’s so smart. he starts feeling insecure about this and ends up skipping a lot of his classes to laze at his apartment. one night while clearing his mind by taking a walk under the starry skies he passes a construction sight. he notices a pink glowing substance that he stepped in while he was walking through the construction sight. he wipes it off his shoe in disgust yet curiosity. touching the substance was a big mistake. (or not) it was a virus that easily spreads throughout your whole body, it’s a one of a kinda virus- an undiscovered species in fact. the virus is called unigen. this virus gave him unusual powers over the course of a week, but the process was painful because he felt overwhelmingly sick. -super intelligence -acid ink -quick reflexes ROME didn’t know what to do with these powers so he takes a while to just focus on college again and just dealing with the constant whispering about him. even now at his apartment with his thoughts he hears voices about how « gifted » he is with his smarts but the truth is that he has always been an orphan, he was often bullied in his orphanage as well. so ROME would find random study books around that were for the older kids and he would work on them to escape reality, he learned a lot. ROME finally decided to use his powers for bad because he’s tired of constantly trying to be perfect, because apparently nobody even appreciates it. the downsides to his powers are -burning skin from acid -more likely to faint -unigen can take over -he can’t touch people (unigen could take over the person leaving ROME powerless once again) -he needs to eat a lot of food for both himself and unigen ROME -5’11 -skinny yet a bit lean -male -straight -20 -korean -lives in los angeles (for college) -quiet (not shy) -antisocial -bad communicator -perfectionist -(used to be) soft hearted (still kinda) -deep down he just wants to be praised that’s all i got so far- i might change it up a bit later idk
