Narrator: "It was night in a city where both the posh and poor called home. Where streetlights flickered and smoke covered the stars. Beggars, buildings, and billboards lined the sidewalks. Vehicles packed the streets. The city never slept, something in it always ran. It appeared that someone was always running as we-" Scruffbag: "CAN'T CATCH ME SLOWPOKES!" (Yelling & Taunting) Police #1: "Get back here ya steal'in Scruffbag!" (Angry) Narrator: A girl or rather "Scruffbag" with badly cut, dirty blonde hair and a grey-ish hoody on dashed around the corner of a skyscraper-like building, clutching a paper bag in her left hand filled with any food she could nab from the Convenience Store without getting caught. Police #2: "Hurry up! This is our chance to catch that rat!" (Impatient/Angry) Police #1: "I know! So why don't you move faster instead of naggin' me!" (Panting/Angry/Arguing) Narrator: "Scruffbag smirked at the two bickering cops behind her and began to run faster, turning a corner once again onto one of the busiest night sidewalks. Dodging between people and ducking under arms." Scruffbag: "Sorry! Excuse me! Coming through!" (Cocky & Rushed) Narrator: "People rushed to the side of the sidewalk in fear of being run over by the "crazy teen". Others behind remarked on the "Scruffbag's" rudeness. Suddenly, all of their heads whipped around at the sight of angry police officers telling the "Scruffbag" to surrender whilst arguing with each other." Police #1: "It's all your (yer) fault she got a head start! When we get back to the station you're gonna share our chase!" (Angry/Mad) Police #2: "I'll tell them the reason we failed was your uselessness!" (Bickering/Annoyed) Narrator: "The police caused more of a commotion than Scruffbag had, with pedestrians launching themselves out of the way to avoid the two. Groaning and shouting at them after they passed." Narrator: "The sidewalk was about to end, cars speeded, and blinding headlights flashed ahead. The road was just a few buildings away." Narrator: "Scruffbag looked to her left where all the buildings were aligned and packed together. Still sprinting and thinking quickly she ripped two signs off of the sides of what looked to be a run down bakery. Scruffbag smirked at the first sign she saw." Scruffbag: "If ya want people to know who I am, you might want a better picture!" (Yelling Back/Taunting) Narrator: "Scruffbag waved the sign at the police. It was a wanted sign with a blurry picture of her running. Scruffbag didn't know when or how someone got a photo but she didn't care. It's not like those slug-paced cops were going to catch her anyway." Narrator: "Scruffbag looked back, sticking out her tongue." Police : "Arg, what's the tongue for-AH!" (Annoyed) Narrator: "A piece of paper flew straight into the police officers face, obscuring her vision. The other officer still running, turned his head backward." Police : "You've got to be kidding me!" (Under Breath/Annoyed) Scruffbag: "Hey! Heads up!" (Yelling back/Taunting or Cocky) Police : "What'd you just say?!" (Angry/Annoyed) Narrator: "By the time the officer got that sentence out of his mouth, a paper advertising dog walks crash-landed on his face." Police : "You rotten-ugh.." (Angry/Yelling THEN Defeated) Narrator: "The cop peeled the paper off his face, just as his partner appeared at his side." Police : "She's gone. Again!" (Angry/Defeated/Annoyed) Narrator: "Scruffbag was nowhere to be seen on the sidewalk. The road and its vehicles appeared disturbed. Yet behind a building, pressing herself against a wall, a girl panting and smiling held a paper bag of stolen food." To , Sorry for so many lines TvT.
Hi Everyone, I am really sorry about the confusion and delay of the script. Yesterday was my dads birthday, as well as a day of Holy Obligation (Catholic Holiday). I did not realize this. I am at summer camp 7:30-5:30 and was not home at all for the rest of the night. I will fix my scheduling and (try) to ensure that this doesn't happen again. (Camp has ended as of today so I will be more active). Sincerest Apologize, scrfis
