Instructions

I couldn't believe Emily punched me. I couldn't imagine why either. Did I do something wrong? Say something? I had sunk to the ground, the pain still making my mind spin. I opened my eyes and saw Emily standing in front of me. Her eyes seemed to be watering, and she looked to be grinding her teeth. "Well. . . your wrist s-seems to be f-fine." I grunted, trying to be funny and giving a weak smile. As the pain dwindled, I tried to get up. Emily came over and helped me up. Once I was able to stand, (or at least lean on Emily for support) I took a big breath. Pain shot through my chest. "Ah-" "Are you okay, Matt?" Emily asked, worry flashing in her eyes. "No. . . no not really," I croaked. Emily and I managed to limp back to the meeting area. As soon as I could, I sunk down onto one of the rocks. Soon Harry emerged from the hole in the rocks, and following him, Ginny Weasley. Everyone hugged him, except me cause, well you know the story. I just nodded and waved. Emily, Isabella and Havi hugged Ginny too. "Ginny are you okay?" Isabella asked. "How did you get there?" Emily and I asked at the same time. She whipped around to look at me, and then we both quickly looked away. "She was taken to the Chamber." Havi stated. "And she opened it, by accident of course." Harry added. Everyone fell silent. "So how're we gonna get out?" Ron asked. "Yeah, and does he have to come too?" Teddy asked, looking at Lockhart skeptically. Fawkes then exploded through the whole and landed in the room. "Fawkes can take us." Harry said. Everyone grabbed on to one another, and Harry grabbed onto Fawkes. The phoenix flew up through the tunnel and up into the girls' lavatories. I began to limp my way to the Great Hall for the feast, Teddy and Havi ahead of me. Teddy dropped back and asked: "What happened to you mate?" "Long story . . ." I explained the whole punch thing and the crystals, and everything in between. "Ha, ha! Matt likes Emily, Matt likes Emily!" Teddy crowed. "Like you don't like Jackie," I muttered. Teddy clearly heard me because he turned a light shade of red. We all got to the Great Hall and sat down at the Hufflepuff table. Havi went to Ravenclaw. I sat on the end and by the wall to lean against. Teddy was next to me, and Logan sat across. Teddy was scowling at him. I looked to the entrance of the Great Hall and saw Jackie and Hermione come running in. Emily, Havi and Isabella ran up to her and hugged her. Jackie then came over to the Hufflepuff table. "Hi, boys." She said, sitting down next to Logan. Teddy looked as if he was to burst with happiness. Isabella, Havi and Emily came over and started to ask questions. I just sat there and closed my eyes. "Matt, go to the Hospital Wing." Emily demanded. I groaned. I could hardly get from the bathroom to the Great Hall, I didn't need to go all the way up stairs to the Hospital Wing. "No, i'll go tomorrow." I wasn't really going to.
