Whelp. Summer’s over. Actually, summer in Alabama lasts till November (if we’re lucky). Buuut I’m back in the heckhole that’s called ‘public school’. Hopefully, all my friends will get into art club, that way we can work on the first season of our graphic novel. The DoodledVerse! Yes people, it’s coming! The DoodledVerse is a fantasy-adventure story created by many collaborators across Scratch! It’s kind of like Percy Jackson and The Chronicles of Narnia blended together in a chaotically delicious smoothie. The DoodledVerse takes place in an alternate universe where Greek and Roman mythology/magic meets modern times. Here’s a basic overview: One day, Anura- a normal human teen- discovers a hidden door in her bedroom to the magical DoodledVerse, where she met the mighty goddess Franchesca. Franchesca and Anura become friends and decide to help defend the DoodledVerse from a raging war over who is in control. They meet Dwippy, a mysterious young adult playing an outcast from the DoodledVersian society, Jiro, a young demigod who shows interest in Franchesca, along with friends Scott, Clementine, and more. As friendships grow and lovers bond, things become more difficult for the half-human teens to function in an unlike America. Soon, the war gets to the friends and they join the fight, and the DoodledVersian and Army X armies go head-on, causing conflicting feelings on who the demigods can trust. Anura, knowing which to stay true to - even if it means risking her life - comes to realize they all have two choices - to come to terms or die.
