1. Q: What's the title of your current WIP? A: Wildborn 2. Q: Do you know what the cover will look like? A: I have no idea 3. Q: Who is your favorite character? A: My favorite character (to write about) is Errol. He's in Wildborn. I like him because he's one of those characters that I know inside and out and if my story is getting to slow, he's happy to add a level of drama. 4. Q: Who is your least favorite character? A: My least favorite character (when I'm writing anyway) is actually the main character, Jamelle. I absolutely love her character but it feels so frustrating to write about her sometimes. I'm pretty sure it' due to the fact that she doesn't have any goals until halfway through the story. I'm also still trying to flesh out her personality. 5. Q: How long did it take to find your writing style? A: I knew it almost as soon as I started writing. 6. Q: Do you like your writing style? A: No, not on the first draft anyway. I have a tendency to add too much dialogue and not enough description and I always forget to use figurative language. 7. Q: Exposition, dialogue, or worldbuilding? A: I'm kinda confused by this question. If it's aksing me how I start working on a story, it's different for every story I write. 8. Q: What's your favorite book? A: Every book ever by Brandon Sanderson. 9. Q: Who's your favorite author? A: Brandon Sanderson. 10. Q: What's your least favorite book? A: I've read too many books that I didn't like to name one. Probably any children's picture book. Or maybe Magic Treehouse. 11. Q: Who's your least favorite author? A: I don't have one. 12. Q: What book/series are you currently reading? A: The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. 13. Q: What's the last book you read? A: Winter by Marissa Meyer. 14. Q: Writing in the early morning, noon, afternoon, or evening? A: I mostly write when I have free time at school. 15. Q: What music do you listen to while you write? A: I don't usually listen to music when I write. I will listen to Lindsey Stirling when I write every once and awhile. 16. Q: Which popular book stole a idea you had when you were ten? A: Warriors. I wrote so many Warriors fanfictions and spinoffs when I was younger. 17. Q: Angst or fluff? A: Angst. 18. Q: Favorite genre to read? A: Sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, action etc. 19. Q: Favorite genre to write? A: Fantasy and dystopian. 20. Q: Least favorite genre to read? A: Horror. I haven't actually read any horror novels before but I get freaked out pretty easily. 21. Q: Least favorite genre to write? A: Epic fantasy. I love epic fantasy so much but it's difficult to write. I'm also still a pretty new writer so I write (slighly) less complicated stories. 22. Q: Give me a summary of your current wip's plot A: A girl named Jamelle discovers she has special powers. She is a wildborn. Everyone hates wildborns. She joins a rebellion. Love plots, betrayals, and battles happens. I did a really bad job at explaining it but I'm too lazy to come up with a better description right now. 23. Q: How do you come up with characters? A: It depends on the story and the character. For most characters, I just start writing and they kind of pop up. In the first draft they always have no personality and then I keep writing and they become real people to me. 24. Q: How do you come up with character names? A: For a lot of the characters, like Jamelle, Kamilai, Errol, Sephora, and Akira, I just come up with a name o the spot. For others, I scroll through baby name lists. 25. Q: When is your main character's birthday? A: I haven't actually thought about that.
26. Q: Cereal A: ??? 27. Q: Do you like having background noise while you write? (music, white noise, tv, etc) A: The screaming of my brothers fighting over who gets to use the TV. 28. Q: What's your wpm? A: I don't know. I think I'm a decently fast writer. 29. Q: Romance? A: A few months ago I would have said ew, but I've been liking romance a lot more recently and have even added a love plot into Wildborn. It doesn't last long though... 30. Q: Tea, coffee, cocoa, or something else? A: Cocoa 31. Q: Opinion on love triangles? A: They're good if they're done right. I hate the love triangle the The Hunger Games but loved the love triangle in The Selection. 32. Q: Romance in your book? A: Yes. 33. Q: Character death, or does everyone live? A: Character death. Lots and lots of character death. 34. Q: Have you thought up the cover yet? A: No. 35. Q: Dragons or robots? A: Dragons. 36. Q: Who's your OTP in your own book? A: (Spoilers!) So far, the only love plot is between Jamelle and Errol but not long after they start dating, Errol betrays Jamelle. I'm consider giving Kamilai a love interest though. 37. Q: Who's your OTP in other books? A: Wildborn is the first story I've written with a love plot. 38. Q: How many tabs do you have open. Be honest. A: 22, but only 3 of them are mine. The rest are my parents' or siblings'. 39. Q: How many WIPs are you working on besides the main one? A: 0 40. Q: Give me your dream cast for your book's eventual movie! A: I haven't though of that before. Um... Anyone who is good at being my characters? 41. Q: What's your main character's name? A: Jamelle. 42. Q: Do you hate or love your main character? A: Both. I love her so much for her fiery personality and strong loyalty but she can be a pain to write about sometimes. I'm still trying to think of a goal to give her. Currently, stuff is just happening to her and she's just trying not to die. 43. Q: have you drawn your mc? you should put the drawing (or their description) in the project A: No. I'm not a super talented artist. 44. Q: What's your character's social status? A: (Spoilers!) She starts out as an average citizen. Then she starts training to become a soldier for the rebellion. Then some certain magical talents quickly elevates her through the ranks. Then the rebellion falls apart and she founds a new rebellion. So, she's kind of everywhere in her social status. 45. Q: What's your mc's species? A: Human. 46. Q: Do you like fairytale retellings? A: There's only one fairytale retelling that I've ever read. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. Great series. 47. Q: Favorite character from other books? A: How to choose. Well, there's my book crush. Four, from Veronica Roth's Divergent. There's my other book crush. Edward, from Twilight. There's my other other book crush. Maxon, from The Selection. I have a lot of book crushes. 48. Q: Least favorite character from other books? A: Fitz Vacker from Keeper of the Lost Cities. 49. Q: do you write digital or notebook? A: Computer. 50. Are you a gardener or an architect? (If you don't know what that means, I will be extremely mad) A: A little bit of both. I usually start writing my story and then I make a plot once I know who the main character is, what the setting is, and what the problem is.
