Behold! The History Of WorldGrandPrix: Pre-1995: Unofficial global racing starts to become more popular, but no studio wanted to broadcast those, because of low budget. 1995: Rusteze partnered with Racing Sports Network (RSN) to create the official global racing championships, WorldGrandPrix. The First Races Start In Washington, D.C, USA, Mexico City, Mexico And Ottawa, Canada. 1997: WorldGrandPrix becomes the #1 racing championship in the world, due to RSN and Rusteze's popularity. 1999: For the first time, WorldGrandPrix went to Europe. Berlin, Germany, Warsaw, Poland And Oslo, Norway were selected as racing destinations, but due to a tie in Oslo against american racer Adam Rizer and russian veteran Ivan Rasherski, a new city had to be chosen. The selection of a bonus race took until December, but eventually Bratislava, Slovakia was selected. 2009: A controversial move was made. Rusteze wanted to move on from WorldGrandPrix and return back to the Piston Cup career, so the rights to use WorldGrandPrix were sold to Allinol for $3.500.000. 2012: Due to the controversial 2011 WorldGrandPrix, the rights were once again sold to SystemDrift (an energy drink company under Dinoco's supervision). 2083-2094: WorldGrandPrix was slowly becoming boring, so in 2095 (it's 100th anniversary), they held the last WorldGrandPrix ever.
