I have a picture of a salamander hanging in my room. It is this exact picture. I searched up the species of salamander and found this. So I obviously had to use it. The picture is from Google, by the way. This is a black-chinned red salamander. The salamander is semi-aquatic and lives in forests that contain water (example: creeks, rivers, and streams). They are most active at night and regenerate lost/injured limbs and tails. Living in the eastern US, the salamander is common but the species is threatened by habitat loss.
