I’m slightly awkward when it comes to talking outside of roleplaying, but feel free to talk to me if you want to. ❝ if you find me, i’ll go to you… ❞ 》┊ about the kit. . . ˎˊ˗ ╰ kit— Daringkit ╰ why are you applying? — I love Daringkit’s design, the mixture of bright and less saturated colours really caught my eye when I first saw him. I also like birds and so I’m in love with the fact that he has wings. ╰ final gender — Male, he uses he / him or they / them pronouns. ╰ final sexuality — Gay. ╰ how long will you keep the kit? — I am a very sentimental person, so I like keeping my characters for as long as possible! I’d probably keep Daringkit up until he’s 60+ moons or so, perhaps longer if I want him to be an elder. ╰ personality — If one were to base an opinion on Daringkit from his name and height alone, they would assume him to be a brave warrior who soars the skies, eager to prove his worth. This is, however, extremely different from the truth. Daringkit is not brash or loud-spoken, but instead incredibly gentle. He has a soft, almost motherly tone about him. Despite not being the oldest of the three siblings, Darlingkit feels as if he has to adopt a caring role towards his siblings. Daringkit may be considerate and caring, but this can sometimes create a feeling of being smothered, as he can at times be too overprotective. He doesn’t seem to understand that some freedom is good for those he cares for, and instead dotes on them to the extreme. Furthermore, Daringkit is quite sensible. He dislikes danger and evaluates every situation for risks, meaning he can be a little tiring to have around when you wish to have fun and adventure. Along with his sensibility comes his intelligent nature, as he shows an aptitude for learning and loves immersing himself in knowledge. This means he can sometimes come off as a know-it-all, as he has a softly-spoken answer for nearly every simple question that you’d ask. Daringkit is adverse to arguing, but understands that it is important in some cases to argue your point. Still, he never looks for an argument and prefers to resolve things by diplomacy. For him, arguing is the last possible option — and the worst one. Along with this, Daringkit is quite sensitive. Although he never lets it show, he takes every joke and remark about him seriously. He has little self-esteem, but never allows it to be obvious. Instead, Daringkit devalues himself in private, always feeling that he could do more to help everyone. Although Daringkit may usually be softly-spoken and kind hearted, he can be firm when he wants to be. If you offend any of those he holds dear or threaten your own safety, he will scold you greatly — don’t worry, even his anger only extends to a firm expression and a disappointed voice. Daringkit enjoys spending time with younger cats. Even when he becomes older, Daringkit loves playing with and doting on kits. They won’t be able to have any fun with Daringkit around though, as he’ll watch them like a hawk to stop any particularly adventurous kits from wandering off. It may be surprising to those who don’t know him, but Daringkit is very shy and awkward when it comes to receiving affection or care. He gets very embarrassed and isn’t entirely sure what to say, he’ll usually smile and just hurry off to avoid falling over himself to thank the cat in question. Daringkit is also quite jumpy and he gets scared easily, he’s also quite afraid of the idea of ghosts or such. positive traits — caring, sensible, gentle neutral traits — awkward, shy, pacifist negative traits — overprotective, sensitive, low self-esteem, easily frightened
╰ roleplay(s) example — 1) It was a bright, sunny day on which Daringkit saw his first butterfly. Daringkit disliked most insects, but he found this one to be far too pretty to run away from. The wings — dark with burnt orange patterns — stood out from everything else, drawing the eyes. Despite himself, Daringkit found his body moving closer and closer towards the insect, as if he were possessed by some strange insect-loving spirit. Then, just as he was within a couple of inches of the butterfly, it flew away, evidently startled by the young kit. (slightly aged up example) 2) Sometimes, when Daringpaw had nothing else to occupy his time with, he would spend time humouring the younger cats. He found them pleasant to be with, their bright eyes gleaming with the childish innocence that made them so adorable. He would often join in with their games, smiling gently at the awed faces of kits who relished the idea of an older cat playing with them. Despite this, Daringpaw had nothing to do now. He had asked twice — no, thrice — if anyone around the camp needed help, only to be told that they did not. Another cat may have enjoyed this moment of relaxation but Daringpaw felt somewhat uncomfortable at the idea of doing nothing. He felt a deep need to be useful to someone or something, even if it was something small like watching over a particularly troublesome kit. The feline sighed, pacing nervously around in perfect circles, his usually kind eyes betraying a sense of deep-seated anxiety. ❝ i’ll lower myself down to you… ❞ 》┊ about roleplaying . . . ˎˊ˗ ╰ roleplay experience — I’ve been roleplaying on various sites for around nine years now! I wanted to get back into proper roleplaying after a break, and decided to come back to Scratch. I got an invite for the TSS studio and so decided to join. I don’t have any previous experience with TSS, but I have done ‘warrior cat’-esque roleplaying before. ╰ activity — I’m probably a 9/10 on weekends and a 6/10 on weekdays. On weekdays I’ll probably be able to spend an hour or so over the course of a day, but on weekends I can spend 2 hours or more. My activity depends mostly on if I have any current roleplay threads, as if I have threads going on I’ll do my upmost to log in and reply. If I don’t then I probably won’t be as active, but I’ll probably pop in to see if there are any open roleplay threads to join or to start one. I will be more active on Fridays compared to other days, but I will have short periods of time in which I don’t start many roleplays — I’ll still continue with any running threads or even join one, but I just won’t have the time to start any. This will probably be a maximum of a week, but I’ll let you know if it’ll be longer than that. ❝ and tell you that because i couldn’t forget you… ❞ 》┊ extra . . . ˎˊ˗ ╰ trivia — Daringkit presents in a slightly feminine way at times, this increases as he grows up, even though he still identifies as male. Daringkit treats small animals like they’re royalty, he enjoys taking care of them and gets slightly upset when they go. Daringkit’s voice is high-pitched and sounds sweet, but when he becomes older it lowers in pitch slightly, so it isn’t as high. Still, his voice isn’t deep at all, and so he can sound a little younger than he actually is. Daringkit is terrified of bugs, and so he’ll scream if you bring one nearby. He doesn’t mind butterflies, though. Daringkit’s loves sweet fruits, like strawberries. He’ll be very happy if you give him some as a gift. Daringkit also enjoys flowers, his favourite being jasmine as it gives a scent off that he likes. So he often wears one, he sometimes gifts them if he particularly likes you. Daringkit is also very scared of thunderstorms and lightning, and so is slightly nervous when it’s raining very heavily for fear of a thunderstorm. ╰ research — N/A ╰ codewords— I spread them around the post.
