"Again!!!" shouted Sliththroat, his voice echoing across the training grounds. Beepaw had been tirelessly practicing this complex pounce for 5 days, each attempt bringing him closer to perfection. He gathered his strength, focused on his form, and with a powerful push from his back legs, he leaped into the air, briefly feeling weightless before landing hard on the ground. Wheezing and struggling to catch his breath, Beepaw strained to hear Sliththroat declare, "Training dismissed." Meanwhile, Cloverpaw demonstrated a deep understanding of each herb, flawlessly reciting the names - "Marigold, Brunet, Catmint, and Celedine." Her mentor smiled, but her expression seemed to be met with an emotionless stare from the cat in front of her. "Well, that's it for today," Cootface announced. As the soreness from the fall settled into Beepaw's muscles, he couldn't help feeling disappointed by Sliththroat's apparent lack of concern. Lost in thought, he was jolted back to reality as a larger cat approached him. "Ugh," Beepaw grunted, brushing dust off his fur. A sneering voice cut through the air, "Well if it isn't Beekit, we all saw you fly," it was Frostpaw. "It was epic," he added with a smirk. "I'm a paw now, just like you," Beepaw retorted. Frostpaw laughed at this and pushed him aside “Oops, sorry Beepaw” he said. Anger boiled inside Beepaw. He got into the position and pounced, finally perfecting the pouce. Claws unhooked he attacked the bigger cat. Frostpaw was surprised he had actually been attacked by the small cat, after coming over the initial shock he shifted his weight to the side Beepaw was attacking and Beepaw hit the floor with a loud thud. Instantly Frostpaw’s paw rose, his claws unsheathed ready to strike down Beepaw. “What is this Nonsense” a voice rang, Frostpaw gulped it was Hawkeye the deputy of windclan “I said get off him” Hawkeye growled. “B-But he attacked me” Frostpaw said smally. Hawkeye looked at Beepaw and then said “Both of you come with me” FIN
