Following the retreat due to an overwhelming offensive from the Islethians, the Yopore reinforcements begin to arrive at the front, and attempt an assault with the West Nysians, but clearly are still outnumbered heavily, being 5,000 to 11,000, with their squad of artillery being immediately cut down, because 5 men is what it takes to man just an artillery gun or two, meaning that in comparison to the Islethians, their firepower is practically useless, with the total frontage and dispersion meaning that only 2000 of the West Nysian and Yoporian men are able to be on the offensive against the 10000 Islethians. Islethia's men await reinforcements and take time to rest after the offensive. In the south, an amphibious infantry attack is commenced by Yopore, but after some territorial gain, is met with fierce resistance by large amounts of infantry. Generally, overwhelming optimism from the West Nysian side is hampering soldiers, such as expecting a large breakthrough and a capture of significant cities, despite the fact how the odds are very overwhelming against them. West Nysians begin to attempt to travel by water into Islethia, as the war effort wreaks their very poor industry, with the troops in the north having to rely on very thin supplies, as there is no infrastructure on their side that is handy.
