... despite the fact that I have only played 2/5 of the games in it. I will therefore be going off information received from other reviews I have watched (in the case of Tee K.O. 2, FixyText, and Hypnotorious), and as for Timejinx and Dodo Re Mi I'll be speaking from personal experience. Without further ado, let's begin. Tee K.O. 2: For a start, let's look at the new voting system. Oh, hey there Bracketeering. Didn't expect to see you here. Yeah, so the new bracket system is... ehhhhhhh. It's overall a more "fair" system than the gauntlet system in the original Tee K.O., however the game loses it's comedy aspect because of this. Like in the aforementioned Bracketeering, any joke would last one laugh, maybe two. But in most cases, by the time it's at round 3 it's no longer very effective in making people laugh. And as for the last round, hey look it's Bracketeering again! The last round is blatantly unfair. Like seriously, who wants to end a game of Tee K.O. with a tap contest? It worked as a tiebreaker in Bracketeering, but since we've already got a tiebreaker in this game (which is also quite stupid being completely RNG-based), why? Why not just do a regular vote? Kills the hype, I know, but way fairer. And considering this game already prioritised fairness over anything else, why not do it again? And you may be thinking, "why is a tap contest unfair? Whichever shirt has more people voting for it should win anyway, right?" Not all the time. [ Space or tap ] Just look at this screenshot. A tap contest is FAR from fair. I mean, the drawing + t-shirt customisation tools are better at least. But still not on the same level as Champ'd Up in my opinion. There was a bigger + better colour palette in that game, plus the tool icons were more distinguishable. All in all, Tee K.O. 2 is a good game. But still lacks as a sequel where its predecessor shines. Overall score: 3.5/5 Timejinx: Honestly, I like this game. It's a fun little trivia game about dates when stuff happened in the past (yes, even the final round is if you think about it). However, when you remember that this is a Jackbox game, it starts to lose its trivia game-flair when compared to something like the TMP or Fibbage games. Plus, there's no real chance for you to win if you're bad at trivia, like I am! (I had a score of 97 once lmao) In Fibbage, you could still get points from your fake answers; and in TMP, you could still survive if you were any good at the minigames. Timejinx, however, has nothing of the sort. Overall score: 4/5 FixyText: Let me just put this point across: don't even bother getting pack 10 for this, just open a public Google doc with your friends and write whatever you want. It's funny, I guess, but hardly even a game. Overall score: 2/5 Dodo Re Mi: Before actually getting the pack, my opinion on it stood at something like this: "Dodo re mi good, everything else bad". I would have given it a 6/5 any day. But that opinion has since changed. Although the game is still really good, there are a few things which I personally have problems with. One of which being sync issues. The game's sync-up system is a creative idea which works well most of the time, but sometimes the game will tell me I missed something when it appeared as "perfect" on my phone screen. Might just be my internet though so idk. I actually find it quite difficult because I usually only use one of my fingers on my phone. You can probably guess where this is going. The tutorial caught me off guard with the vibraphone section and I ended up getting 4 stars. On the tutorial. While I get that that's a major skill issue on my part, I got frustrated with my score. And when I get frustrated with something, I demote it to 4.5 stars. Also, just a random thing, but the time estimation on the game's pack screen is a bit of a lie. You can play for as long as you want. There is nothing stopping you from pulling an all-nighter on this game. Overall score: 4.5/5 Hypnotorious: Alright I'm going to be honest I'm leaving this one to a separate project. There is so much wrong with this game that it needs its own explanation, one that probably wouldn't fit in the Scratch character limit. So I'm leaving it off here. Thanks for reading this far. Please note that most anything I say about these games is purely my opinion, and I am entitled to it as much as you are to yours. - Blunty now to start writing the Hypnotorious review. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
