The next number in the fibonoacci sequence is produced by adding the two previous numbers. We did this calculation to produce the sequence. Then, we made a spiral, where the radius for each 90 degrees turn is a value in the sequence. It's as if we pasted a lot of parts of circles of different sizes together. We made lots of these fibonacci spirals because we thought it was pretty. Fibonacci Spirals and sequences can often be found in nature. For instance, this looks a lot like the patterns in califlower and broccoli.
