ProFS is a file system made specifically for use with ProID products and affiliates. It is used to store data on systems and is portable and compatible with Hitfel 5, PrOS, and phoneOS. Here is how it works. Every file takes up a BIT. Depending on each system you have a maximum amount of BITS you can use before the Capsule prevents you from making new files. Because this is Virtual Memory, this is always interchangeable. The New File button allows you to create a Plain(Binary) file, a Hitfel 5 App/File, Text, phoneOS App/File, and PrOS App/File. Each are only usable on the specified system with the exception of Text and Plain files which are compatible with each system. The Delete File button allows you to delete a file specified on the File List via number. The Format Button allows you to completely delete all data on the Capsule. The File List toggles the List of all files currently on the Capsule.
To use ProFS on your system by default you must be on Version 4.0 of Hitfel 5, Version 4.0 of phoneOS, and Version 4.0 of PrOS. ProFS is a trademark of ProID Corporation. All rights reserved.
