LAST CHAPTER: Shadow had killed 6-year-old Crystal's parents, leaving the little bunny orphaned. Luckily, the legendary rabbit Diamondtail had been watching, and made Crystal a member of her fighter team. --------------------------------- A year after Crystal had met Diamondtail, she had already fought a few battles and carried a stitched-up scar. Who knew what was waiting for her next? She did not know that the fighters' defences were slowly growing weaker, putting all of them in danger. This increased their chance of Shadow finding them. One day, an elegant cat walked into their burrow. She was a breathtaking shade of golden brown, with ruby bracelets glimmering at her wrists and a velvet cloak draped across her shoulders. The fighters bowed low before her, but she ignored all of them, walking straight to Crystal. "Rubypaw," Diamondtail whispered to Crystal. "Bow." Crystal kneeled over, and Rubypaw looked at her. "Is it true that Shadow killed your parents?" She asked in a deep, rumbling purr. "Yes, Crystal answered breathlessly. Rubypaw just stood there for a moment. Then, she lashed out.
