So, here's his possible second to last chapter: -Hannah Robinett- {It had been her fault really. She told him to protect the school while she tried to get the hurt people to safety. He didn't deserve what had happened.} (3 weeks before short story 28) Dreams. He had seen them. He had held then in his grip. He was like a dream, not possible to be true. He was just another trick of this nightmare. Bryton in his mind using him as a bound to this world. He usually would help Trey get through fights. Not today though! What a great friend! He ducked down and slashed his daggers at the hero's ankles. The person yelped and fell to the dirt. "So the red eye virus doesn't save you from pain?" he asked, kicking the person in the stomach. The red eye virus, made by a unknown villain years ago and the main reason for the government crashing. That's not what happened though. No. Kintur had taken advantage of Jake's powers. Trey remembered getting sent forward in time and throwing Ben's enchantment of time traveling at his Ben's face. He gripped the hero's throat, seeing as the virus had corrupted them. "Oops. Too far gone" he grinned, pulling out his needle and thread, and pressing it to the hero's right eye. "Now, now. Don't you fret little boy, I like hearing the screams of monsters" Trey's grin didn't fade as he stitched the man's eyes and mouth shut and put buttons over the hero's eyes. Puppeteer, it's what he was. Making people suffer, making his own slaves. He was the real monster wasn't he? He remember Nari getting scared of him at the lake and backing up. The way she yelped. "Please! I didn't mean it! Don't make me a puppet!" she had yelled. He had watched her eyes go wide. The fear. He remembered getting mad at her for having thrown his sister in the lake because she couldn't swim. He had apparently threatened her. He remembered grabbing Curtis's throat. Listening to his screams as he stitched him up. Curtis deserved it right? He remember seeing the memories of the people he made into puppets. He remembered the chains from when Jake was rewriting him. Jake's cold and empty words "It's better for the story Trey. We need you here to protect the school" he was yet to find out what it had meant. He finished the stitches of the hero and taped their head, turning them into a doll. He stuffed it in his pocket and walked towards the school. The stitches on his own eyes and mouth disappeared, and he shoved the buttons into his pocket. Maybe he could tell Nari today... Maybe.... (Two weeks later) He was as of right now. Dead tired. But what did he care as long as he was watching trashy television with Nari. She was commenting on hairstyles and how boy-crazy that the girls were. He was leaning against her with a smile. Listening to her was really calming for him. But he didn't want to fall asleep in her bed and make her uncomfortable. She had told him that she liked him about two days ago. But he didn't really believe it. She was too pretty inside and out for him. She and him had been talking back and forth. He heard her get a call and stand up, pacing around. He watched confused. Was she okay? Was something wrong? He stood up when she started pulling on her hair and grabbed her hand. "Don't pull your hair please" he held her hand there and asked what was happening. Getting answered with: "This friend of mine. They only call when they have news of my family... Last time they called, my family had gone missing" he mumbled. He nodded "Answer the phone, I bet they're okay. Alright?" he said with a shy smile. She answered the phone and started talking in rapid Korean, after she hung up she tackled Trey in a hug and they fell back against her bed. "What happened?" he asked, already having a guess. "They escaped" she answered, burying her head in his shoulder. He held her tighter and felt his grin widen. "That's amazing!" he claimed. She nodded. (2 weeks later) He heard it. Felt it. Saw it. Smelled it. Tasted it too. Great. All the five senses for when he died. He had heard Nari scream at him that if he died she was going to end him. He had felt puppet strings dig into his fingers. He saw the school falling apart. He smelled fire and smoke. He tasted his own bl00d. His shirt was stained with scarlet splatters. He felt his mind work against him. A thought creeping in /You're not enough/ a raspy voice growled. More raspy and clinging voices seeped into his mind, he felt claws scratch along his face. Feeling a trail of bl00d. He heard a familiar voice. His mom /Give up Trey. Come home, to me/ she whispered. (continued down)
He felt her arms wrap around her like they used to. Her sweet voice, /That Nari girl doesn't love you like I do. Come home Trey/ she whispered again. He felt something claw at his face again. It felt like fingertips. /Come on Trey, don't take so long. I only have a few more moments... You won't have to raise Erin. You won't have to worry for Nari. Just come home./ she said. He felt the puppet strings dig further into his hands. /I can cure you of your powers, my son/ she promised. He felt more fingernail like scratches go down his arms along with the claw marks. He heard Nari yell at him and fly over. She tried grabbing a string and helping him keep the school from crumbling. He then heard his mother scream in pain. /THAT GIRL IS BURNING ME!/ his mom yelled. His eyes widened, his pupils growing as he looked at Nari. "She didn't do anything" he whispered. Barely heard above the yelling of people. Nari looked over at him confused. "What Trey?!" she asked, trying to shout above the noise. He felt another claw go down his arm. "Nothing, I love you Nari" he smiled. He heard his mother's voice growl /I'm taking you with me even if you want to stay with your love/ she hissed in his mind. He felt the puppet strings become tighter, the bl00d from his hands dripping to the concrete. "Why are you doing this mom- It hurts-" he whispered. Had he done something? He heard Nari scream at him, but couldn't make out what. He fell. And heard a thud and his bl00d splatter somewhere. The last thing he saw was the spike from the pit, through his stomach. (Go down ehehehe) (For the record, Trey ain't that muscular. He's just slightly strong, but the picrew said 'NO! WE MUST MAKE THEM LIKE ACTORS!')
