Title: Flashbacks ****** I still couldn't get over the fact that I got invited to Auradon Prep. Like, no way! Anyways, the next day I hung out with some of my friends in my kingdom. My best friend, Lilly, is a princess in her own kingdom, (which I personally think is beautiful) so we don't get to hang out a bunch. After eating breakfast with some of my friends, I started to remember when we all first met. We all were sitting around my mom and dad, as they told the story of how they met. I always sat there in awe of the story, even though I knew it by heart. My parents told the story anytime anyone wanted, and sometimes the village would show up. That's where I first met my friend Nayani. She was sitting and staring at my parents, just like me, and turned to me and whispered in my ear, "I hope I fall in love like this." I turned and smiled at her and we've been friends ever since. But this morning I found she did not get invited to Auradon Prep. She said that even if she did get invited, she would decline, because she didn't want to leave her home. "What! That's why you wouldn't go to Auradon Prep?!" I scream-asked, "Imagine what Auradon would be like!" "Listen, I get that you've always wanted more freedom and less responsibilities from all this future Chief of our lands stuff, but," She paused, "...But I feel content where I am." "That's all you ever want to feel?" I asked, "Just content?" "That's enough for me, but whether you want to believe it or not, you're more like your mother than anyone else." She stood up and walked away. More like my mother? ****** I was curious what Lilly was up to but my phone was dead so I just layed on my bed and stared up at the ceiling of my bedroom. I remember how I met Lilly, when we were both about 9 years old. We were both going to Auradon for Queen Mal's coronation. She wore this beautiful lavender dress with yellow butterflies on her short sleeves. It sparkled and she almost out shined Mal herself. (But I mean, that day Mal couldn't have looked any better) I wore a pale blue dress with spaghetti straps and a matching sash around my tiny waist. We ended up next to each other and I just remember being really bored and talking to her. Honestly, Lilly probably remembers more. I decide to start packing for Auradon, when I'll get to see my bestie and maybe even share a dorm room together!
