Title: Back to School ****** I'm backing my bags. My favorite shirts, pants, socks, shoes, and everything in between. "Knock, knock" A familiar voice enters my bedroom. "Hey Julian, what are you doing here?" I asked. He smiled, showing his pearly white teeth, "Well, rumor has it we both got an invite to Auradon Prep. I wanted to make sure those rumors were true." "They are." I answered. "I'm glad to hear that," He looked over my suitcase and unpacked clothing, "Any chance you need some help?" "That would be wonderful." I smiled. I mentally thanked my mom for making me pack my undergarments first, in the very bottom of my bag, out of sight. We talked forever, he even stayed for dinner. ****** I woke up the next morning to my alarm. I got up and went into my almost empty closet. I smiled, knowing that soon I would be able to reorganize a brand new closet soon. I looked at my phone, it already was full of messages from Lilly. We already planned on sharing a dorm room, which I am very excited about because Lilly is an exquisite artist and loves to paint ceilings and walls. I messaged her good morning and asked if she had left her castle yet. Lilly - Yup, just left! Have you? Via - Nuh-uh, I just woke up girl! Lilly - Lol "Via! I hope you're awake!" My mom called. "I AM MOM!" I called back. I ran down the stairs, almost tripping. I smelt my mom's signature pancakes (which I will miss very much). "Via!" My little brother, KJ, yelled when I finally made it down the stairs, "Ya know, when you move to Auradon, I'll get more pancakes!" I rolled my eyes at my 8 year old brother's comment. "Nope, that means for ME!" My dad said as he started to tickle KJ. I looked at my mom as she tried to hold her giggles in. I grabbed a pancake to go as everyone grabbed their bags and started to head out. I had argued with my parents earlier that KJ didn't need to go (mostly because he would just embarrass me), but they insisted everyone goes to drop me off. We hopped into mom and dad's Jeep and headed off. "Soooo..." My brother gave me a mischievous look, "are you and Julian dating???" I almost choked on my pancake. "No!!!!" (you see what I was saying about embarrassment?) My mom laughed and my dad said, "You better not be." "DAD! What is that supposed to mean?!" I screamed over the wind. "It means you're too young to date." He answered. I rolled my eyes, I'm almost 100% sure he had a girlfriend when he was 14, and I'm 15! But how's he gonna stop me when I'm at Auradon Prep? I looked out my window, soon we would be in Auradon, and I was so excited!
