The broadcasting station is a fictional company called ChinaTV. It is a Sino-American low-power analog terrestrial TV channel on CH-8. It regularly broadcasts Chinese-themed TV Shows, cartoons, sitcoms, documentaries and much more. This fictional company was founded back in 2002 in Oakland, California and it built its first broadcasting tower in 2005. In 2016, it was acquired by CBS, causing it to go defunct. In 2023, The second Incarnation of ChinaTV was founded, and it now has Broadcast towers in New York City (CHNY), Los Angeles (CHLA), Oakland (CHTV), San Francisco (CHSF), Dallas (CHTX), Shanghai (ZHSH), Lhasa (ZHTB), Hong Kong (ZHHK), Beijing (ZHBG) and Taipei (ZHTP).
