‘ You’re messing with a god ‘ Kit i'm applying for/why: The wonderful Acekit! Ace had just caught my eye when i was looking through all the litters! (( I especially wanted an Urchinclan kitty, and i came up with A. five hundred nicknames and B. his personality- i love it already. )) About me/activity level: Okay, so i'll make this short. I'm a huge fan of art and roleplaying, having made many art pieces and being in many roleplays (( prob +40 )) in my short time (( only about less than a year )) on Scratch. (( maybe it's not that short but- )) I am honestly pretty active, but after school, my activity goes down. Since it’s started, it’s been around 8/10. Usually, however, on summer days, I’m about a 9/10. Personality: - simplified: (+) cunning, calm (=) perfectionist, graceful, flirty (-) self-centered, ego-tastic, vengeful - detailed: Ace, as a kit and apprentice, won’t be the. . most enjoyable cat in the clan. Yes, he has a. . small amount of good-traits, but the rest are basically negative. Acey will be cunning and calm, tending to not lash out immediately and thinking through things. Ace will also be sort of flirty, flirting a lot with she-cats, and occasionally getting with many, especially shes, and leave them for another. It’s hard for him to find the right one, but, hopefully and eventually, he will. He’ll dodge a lot of bullets in life with these skills, but will also be hit by many from his bad ones. When Ace is in his younger stages of life, he’ll fully be self-centered and ego-tastic. He’ll stick with his beliefs that he was the most dignified of the clan, believing that he was superior over the others. His ego will mean everything, and one little thing could shatter everything. He’ll also be a perfectionist, needing his looks to be everything. When it comes to beauty, Ace is there. He’ll be obsessive, constantly cleaning his pelt in his efforts to be the best-looking in the clan, and he’ll believe that he was. Everything else will revolt him, disgusting him greatly. Mud, bugs, even other cats, he'll think it's gross. As he believes he is probably the most good-looking in the clan, he'll try to help them whenever, and however, he could. He’ll also attempt in being graceful, believing it would make him look even better than he already did. He’ll travel with grace, nimbly darting through life like a deer through the forest. Surprisingly, despite his calm-looking demeanor, he’ll be vengeful. He’ll need revenge, or else he wouldn’t be able to handle it. Another betrayed him? Revenge. Talked about his family badly? Revenge. Stole the last fish from the prey pile? Revenge. Gender/pronouns: As a kit, he’ll start off strong as fully male, going by he/him. As he grows, he’ll, like usual pre-teens/teens, he’ll become confused and disoriented. He’ll slowly start changing towards he/they pronouns, and identify as a demiboy. After this, he’ll probably remain this way for the rest of his life. Sexuality: Similar to his pronouns, he’ll start strongly as straight. Then, again, he’ll become confused. Soon after his switch to he/they pronouns, he’ll become bisexual. After this, he feels a bit more comfortable, but soon realizes he likes all genders and switches to pansexual, before remaining that way the rest of his life. Trivia: likes: - water - rain in general - his. . siblings??? dislikes: - bugs - mud - white fur - anything that can get dirty/ is the cause of the mess - others - social interactions color: blue and red weather: rain and storms. sometimes sunshine, as long as it warms him cold srp: Acekit sat in the middle of the rain, his fur starting to become drenched. Despite his pelt becoming ruined, he loved the feel of the water against his pelt. Though, the downside would be the fact that dirt and water created mud. and ohhhh how he hated mud. Ace lifted his paws off the ground with a disgusted look, wiping his paws on a nearby rock to rid himself of the mud that had been collected. How gross. suddenly, a small beetle managed to crawl onto his paw. Immediately, Ace jumped into the air, screeching: " EWWW- GET IT OFFFFFFFF " He flung his paw around, eventually dislodging the beetle with a relieved sigh. After that large scare, he felt rather tired. Acekit plodded back to the nursery, not caring much for his dirty pelt in the moment, and lay down to sleep. research: There are different ways to acquire said deafness. It could be congenital ( present at birth ) or caused by trauma, infection, toxins ( including certain drugs (( yes drugs for cats ))) or degeneration of the ear. Deafness present on birth can be inherited from their parents/grandparents or a result from toxic or viral damage to the developing unborn kitten. In young kittens or in cats kept in groups, deafness could be difficult to detect, because the suspected individual will sometimes follow the responses of the others. cont in N+C
Some common symptoms of being deaf include: not knowing when you come home. A louder voice/meowing, not woken easily by loud noises, increase in sleep, increased sensitivity to smells and temperature, along with many others. Since Ace is only half-deaf, then it’ll be slightly similar on his bad side. He will tend to favor his left rather than right (( as his right ( i think? ) is the one that’s deaf )) If a loud noise is on his right side, he will still be able to hear it, but not as clearly as it would be on his left. Deaf cats tend to meow more often and loudly, since they cannot regulate their volume, or some become mute. As Ace is only half deaf, he won’t be completely mute, but won’t talk too much for fear he was yelling. Sure, he can still hear his voice, but he wouldn’t feel comfortable as he can’t hear too well. Also, if a cat is deaf ( or with Ace’s case, half-deaf ) they tend to be a bit more clingy, especially for protection. However, with Ace’s nature, he wouldn’t allow himself to get too attached. He understands that many would die, so he won’t get too close with anyone. . for now. Some behavior issues, however, include: being startled easily, partial failure to respond when being spoken too ( especially on his deaf side ), signs of dizziness and disorientation, or hardly being afraid of loud noises. Even though he is partially deaf, his senses will be heightened a bit. He cannot react to a ton of sounds, but can sense air vibrations, air moving and even small temperature changes that he will sense with his whiskers. Of course, as he is half deaf, he’ll only have a bit of a heightened sense, but still better than the regular cat’s.
