--: GEORG QUEST :-- *instructions below* The valiant warrior Georg has been stolen of his beloved fiancée Galfende by the fiendish imps! As Georg, you must sneak through the Imp Hold by being as quiet as possible so as not to wake the guards. Good luck! INSTRUCTIONS Arrow keys : Move around Z : Advance dialogue The aim of the game is simple: collect the four keys scattered throughout the Hold, unlock the main door and rescue the fair Galfende. But in almost every room you will find at least one guard. These guards will be woken easily by sounds like running, walking through leaves, kicking pebbles and the delightful hissing of Georg stepping on magma. How noisy you're being is shown through the meter at the top of the screen, and your noise will gradually wake up the guard. You can see how awake the guard is by watching its portrait in the top right corner; once it starts shaking, it's about to wake up. Be patient and you'll get through pretty easily, but if you rush you will prob rage quit Enjoye :)

This has been pretty fun to make, and it's been interesting trying out a different style of game to usual; I've enjoyed experimenting with a more retro feel. It's not perfect, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. Hope you like it :D CREDITS: - The art was made by me in Piskel, and music and sounds were made by me in Jummbox. - All coding by me, but I learned depth sort from Griffpatch. - Credits to my friends and family for giving me tons of encouragement and advice (and finding problems with the pixel art :p). My sister had the idea of Galfende being mega-strong, but that didn't make it into the game. I guess it kind of came through with Georg though in the last cutscene.
