LAST CHAPTER: Rubypaw, the legendary cat, had visited Diamondtail's burrow. After asking Crystal a question about her parents, she lashes out. --------------------------------- Crystal screamed as Rubypaw pinned her down, a mad glint in her eyes. "Join me!" She hissed. "Join my team, and bring glory to us! Join us!" "NO!" Diamondtail roared. Just then, a pale blue bunny came charging round the corner. "Stop that!" He shouted. He leapt up and sank his teeth into Rubypaw's back. Chaos erupted. Rabbit fighters ran towards Rubypaw and the blue bunny, fighting to grab the bunny off Rubypaw's back. He jumped off, beckoned to Crystal to follow him, then ran through a hole in the burrow's wall. Crystal scampered after him. Soon they emerged onto a hill of grass. The sun was setting, and the sky was beautiful; violet fading into orange. They sat down side by side. " I can't believe you did that!" Crystal exclaimed. " Yeah, well, my parents call me a troublemaker sometimes, so it wasn't that a big deal," said the blue bunny. "I'm Ocean." "I'm Crystal," said Crystal. "Do you know Shadow? She killed my- my parents-" A tear slipped out of her eye. Ocean put a paw around her, and Crystal's heart fluttered. "I'm sorry," he whispered. His breath smelled like Crystal's favourite carrot pie. They stayed like that for a moment; then Ocean let go of Crystal. "I have to go." He said. "Alright," said Crystal. "thanks again for saving me." "No prob." He said. Then he left.
