Scientific Name: Achkoliuimochintin atekuisitli(Nahuatl for ancestor of all crabs) Alias:microgiant Niche: Feeder of zooplankton Evolved from: (N/A) Description: Achkoliuimochintin is a small creature on Typhon. They are small, mostly free-floating organisms that feed on zooplankton for sustenance. They are practically defense less and are on average 0.5 to 0.7mm long as adults. They reproduce very quickly semi annually, with thousands of eggs being released at a time. Their larvae cling onto rocks in massive “colonies” positioned in shallow water. Interestingly, in this stage they are capable of photosynthesis, an ability they lose in adulthood. They have an open circulatory system and two “hearts”. They mature in only four weeks and have lifespans of anywhere between one to three months.
