_________*~RISK: THE RISING SUN~*_________ Rome, Japan, the British-American Union, and Brazil have focus trees Check the tutorial. Drag the map to move around. Scroll to zoom in or out. Use Turbowarp to reduce lag: https://turbowarp.org/?fps=60#1061056274 Lore: In 985 AD, Erik the Red established the first colony in the Americas, soon followed by many other settlements. But they were not to last, and the populations were wiped out by the harsh nature of the North American coast. However, the Norweigans did leave one thing behind: Disease. Smallpox, the Plauge, and other European ailments swept across the American supercontinent, decimating the native populations. But this would be their saving grace. When Spain began their conquests of the New World, they met much fiercer resistance than in our timeline. The various cultures of the Americas had 500 more years to build immunites to disease. The Europeans still conquered the Americas, but indigenous nationalism was much stronger. They would not forget how they were destroyed. But the West would still rise. And for centuries, they dominated the world. Britain controlled a vast colonial empire. France commanded a powerful army, ready to resist German aggression. And America, with it's unrivaled industry and military, was the most powerful nation in the world. But their power was not to last. In the aftermath of WWI, three powers of the East grew weary of Western dominance: the Soviet Union, Italy, and Japan. And as the Allies destroyed the Central Powers, they decided the time to strike had come. In a brutal and destructive war, the Eastern Powers capitulated the West. After the war, French and British colonies revolted, and the Americas descended into anarchy, allowing for new, indigenous states to rise. Italy, having great success in the war, declared themselves the Neo - Roman Empire, while a coup in the Soviet Union lead the formation of the New Tsardom of Russia. Dawn now breaks over a new era. In the Far East, Japan stands tall, preparing to destroy the last fragments of resistance to their reign. The Romans and Russians stare each other down, competing for dominance over Europe. The future of the world now hangs in balance. It is uncertain who will become victorious. Will the free nations prevail? Or will the powers of the East subjugate the world? _____________FOR DEVELOPERS_____________ Enable developer mode in settings, which unlocks several modding features.
