wow, stuff is happening. so obviously, i'm going to make a hugely controversial post about it that no one's going to see. YES this is in direct response to this: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1050968890/ I. DO. NOT. CARE. if you say that you "respect but don't support." IT. DOES. NOT. MATTER. whether you "support" or not. what matters is what you are going to do when a queer person is getting harassed for their identity and you have the ability and more importantly the authority—i.e., this is happening on your profile, on your project, in your studio, etc. etc.—ARE YOU GOING TO PUT A STOP TO IT? what i care about is whether you are going to defend people who are being harassed for nothing more than existing. you don't have to go out of your way to advocate, but like, don't just let people get attacked for no good reason. goddammit i'm really just starting to think that all these kids on Scratch really just need to go outside and be nice to a person they dislike on principle for once.
