wanted to finish this before i make a countdown for something that starts tomorrow (september 9 as of the time this project was posted). also i am considering not posting alphabet lore stuff as frequently as before, it's getting a bit stale tbh This is basically like a Number Lore, but I called it "Numbertale" instead because 1) Originality, and 2) Believe it or not, "Number Lore" is actually trademarked. Also here's the roles: 1: Resembles Numberblock 1. She has A's role. 2: A duck. He has B's role. 3: A squid-like alien whose tentacles can sting like a jellyfish. They have C's role. 4: A new character. He resembles Miraitowa, the mascot of the 2020 Summer Olympics. (there are actually several reasons as to why this is the case. they are in a comment in his sprite btw) 5: Kinda looks like my Spanish LL but her face looks more like D's. She has, well, D's role. 6: Orange. He has E's role. 7: A new character who is cerulean and wears glasses. He's a smart guy and is 4's best friend. 8: The villain and equivalent of F. He resembles Octonaughty (NB 8's evil counterpart) from Numberblocks, and his lair resembles Octonaughty's lair. I made 8 the villain instead of 7 because 7 is overused. like seriously it's fricking unoriginal. i don't care about the "7 ate 9" thing, just use some other number as the villain for christ's sake 9: The equivalent of G. The only character in the lore that looks exactly like an Alphabet Lore character. (note how his shape looks like lowercase g's but is thinner. i did this because g's look a lot like 9's) He has a crush on 18. 10: A snail. He has both the CAB and VAN's role. He is formed by 1+2+3+4. 11: A flamethrower (?). He has I's role. 12: Lavender. He has J's role. Don't ask about the goofy-ahh mouth. Oh, and he can shoot acid out of his mouth. 13: A butterfly like B except the wings are separate from her body. She has K's role. 14: Forest green and has bushy eyebrows. He has L's role. He somewhat resembles Fourteen from Battle for Dream Island, but this is unintentional. 15: Steel blue. He has M's role. 16: A new character. They resemble Niko, the main character of OneShot. 17: Munsell blue and, like 14, has bushy eyebrows. He has O's role. 18: French mauve and has a crush on 9. She has P's role. 19: The main character and is the same height as 16. He has N's role. 20: A tortoise. He has Q's role. 21: He resembles Gray from my Color Lore. He has R's role. 22: A white robot with a computer screen for a face. He has the MAP's role. He is formed by 18+4. 23: An earthworm. He has S's role. 24: A blue clock with yellow hands that revolve around a red shaft in the center. He has T's role. He somewhat resembles Tony the Talking Clock from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, but this is unintentional. 25: He resembles FlamingFive from Mathemagics. He has both U and the GUN's role. 26: Pistachio green and has a weirdly arranged face. He has V's role. 27: They resemble Ray of Light and Snowflake, the mascots of the 2014 Winter Paralympics. They have W's role. In 19's nightmare, he is formed from 27−8. 28: A mahogany brown pirate. He has X's role. 29: Mulberry and is 28's wife. She has Y's role. 30: A gray planet that the numbers live on. They have Z's role. 0: An angel who 30 summons from the hole in their "0" to reverse time. I also decided to make math symbols characters as well even though they also exist as gems. Unlike the numbers, they can duplicate themselves. They are also genderless. Plus +: Red smiley character with no eyes. He's a reference to Endless Numbers. He debuts in 10's episode with the equation 1+2+3+4. Minus −: Blue frowning character, also has no eyes because he's the opposite of plus. He debuts in 27's episode with the equation 27−8. Times ×: Looks like X from BFDI as a reference to the symbol resembling the variable x. He debuts in 30's episode with the equation (8^3)+(10^2)+((14×15)÷4)+(24÷16). Divided by ÷: Looks exactly like − but is green and has eyes representing the dots. Debuts simultaneously with ×. Parentheses ( ): Two purple characters with large mouths and red pupils as a reference to W from Alphabet Lore. They debut simultaneously with × and ÷. Exponent ^: Resembles a carrot. (pun on caret / carrot) Equals =: Cyan. Always says his name like “Equals…” in anticipation of the equation being solved. There isn't an H equivalent because they are the most useless character in the Alphabet Lore saga because they do absolutely nothing and die. And no, they didn't just die once, but in fact TWICE. For the FART prank, 8 notices a bowl of Cheesy Puffs, and he feeds them to 14. This makes him fart and the numbers laugh, except for 7, who instead faints, but then gets up and starts laughing along. The FRICK equivalent is, as seen above, the equation (8^3)+(10^2)+((14×15)÷4)+(24÷16)=666, the number of the beast. Click on a character to cycle through each of their sprites. If you press space, you will see all of the numbers as young text figures. [COMING SOON]
BlueZoo for Numberblocks (because of 1 and 8's designs, as well as 8's lair) The International Olympic Committee (because of 4 and 27's designs) (also the people who made those mascots) Future Cat for OneShot (because of 16's design) Whoever made Mathemagics (because of 25's design) Originator Kids for Endless Learning Academy (because of +'s design) jacknjellify for Battle for Dream Island (because of ×'s design) *cough* @bren319 *cough* for the project's format Whoever made the original AL gems' vectors And, of course, Mike Salcedo for Alphabet Lore as a whole. I made pretty much everything else myself. Please do not send me a request to change anything; only I can decide what to do with this lore. Also, notice a pattern in the numbers that have non-original designs? Those numbers are all either square numbers or cube numbers.
