The (gacha) scratch system is actually messed up asl. The only reason some people get 'famous' is because they're social and talk w people, even if their projects are straight up a*s, or even if they don't post. The one's that actually try but don't talk a lot barely get recognition. This isn't even what scratch is about, it's not only about the talk, but also the content. This is the reason I quit scratch. I've never been a social person, not online, not irl. I joined scratch because I wanted to hone my coding skills and get acknowledged for it. I used to enjoy it until I realized how messed up the algorithm actually is, and I'm not the only one. There's a LOT more people who don't get recognition while their projects are amazing. Why? Because they also don't talk a lot. The thing about this place that pisses me off is that the people who don't even try get so much 'fame'. Straight up a*s. Hate this place. I've always felt 'left out' or out of place, because it felt like I was just not here. I literally used to try so hard to get recognition to the point I got desperate. Was it bad? Yes. It was a mistake of mine. After I tried everything, following trends, talking, I realized this was just not it for me. I've been busy with irl stuff, and they're much more important then some shi like this. The gacha community itself wasn't even good in general.
