Okay story-time! When I was 7 I used to play soccer. And one day I fell and twisted my ankle really bad. Right then I never thought I'd dance again. 3 years later it still hurt the same. My ankle would still give out anytime I'd start running. Dancing was so fun but I could barely do anything. I had always wanted to do pointe but I thought it would never happen because of the injury. Nothing seemed to work. I went to physical therapy for 5 months and boy, that was terrible. So then dance started up again after physical therapy and everything changed from there. My ankle hurt less and less until it was very rare that it hurt at all. Now I'm doing Pointe and I don't feel pain whatsoever! And when I do it's mostly in gym class at school... Just because you had an injury, does not mean you can't keep doing the things you love. And if I had just gave up from there I would not be able to do a full right split! DON'T GIVE UP!!!
