Hello! Welcome to my first ever art dump! (Help my camera quality sucks) 1. A random girl I drew. Just for fun and to practice, I guess. Oh and don’t look at the hands… Yeah I decided I didn’t want to spend an hour trying to get a single hand right and then have a meltdown when it still looks wrong after the 500th attempt, so I just didn’t even try. I might do something with this character later. 2. Tails! I used a reference image for this one (look at notes and credits for further information on that). I’m not a big fan of the hands or the body structure, but I’m proud of the face and my shading! 3. Gwen Stacy from Spider Verse! I love her so much. I also used a reference for this one (again, see notes and credits). When I took this picture, I thought I was done, but then I realized I forgot to add shading. So then I did. 4. This is the drawing above but shaded. I’m so happy with how it turned out! I think it looks so cool! What a difference shading can make, it's crazy... 5. This one is probably my least favorite because it’s not super high-quality. My iPad’s sucky camera quality also makes this one look awful. I definitely took the least amount of time on this one than the others. And even though it’s my least favorite, I still love it! I’ve had an idea to draw a girl holding a cat for a while now, so I finally drew it. 6. I LOVE THIS ONE!! Ok, so the quality sucks on camera but trust me it is AMAZING in person. I first started trying to draw Hermione (lol) with a reference, but it wasn’t working out, so I just made it my own and only used the reference to shade it. I was trying to go for a more realistic drawing. I’m not proud of the hair, but the shirt wrinkles are decent. What I love about this one is the shading on the face, I think it’s incredible. I think the key is that I just need to shade my drawings really well (especially the faces, that really helps). I know this was a very tiny art dump for my first one, but I drew 5/6 of these all today and I don’t know what else to draw but I’m also really impatient and wanted you guys to see the progress I’ve made in my art. Gasp guys I don’t suck at art anymore!! Also hehe no color for you guys because I legit HATE coloring
I used a reference for 2, 3, and half of 6. 2 and 3 I mostly copied the reference drawing down onto my own, but I tweaked them a bit so they could be in my style. I also added shading to them. For 6, it was supposed to be Hermione lol but it didn’t work out so the rest I did by myself. I just used the reference to shade.
