They all came into the dimension one at a time and Greed was the last to show up. Since the 5 girls were using Greed's floor as a main gathering area, they had her become roommates with one of them. She decided to go with Anxiety because Anxiety liked her the least and Greed wanted to annoy her whenever she worked. This, of course, backfires and it turns into an enemies to lovers situation. Since Greed came from a very anti lgbt home, she has to do a lot of thinking before dating Anxiety. This period of her flirting and teasing with Anxiety but not really wanting to do more is what the animation is based around.
