☼ welcome to willow's (co)leader application for november 2024! ☼ contents: 1. about the theme 2. acknowledgments 3. navigating my app 4. links & more 5. credits ☼ about the theme this session i've decided to use a theme related to Australian history and culture - i'm Aussie if you can't already tell! - As First Nation/Aboriginal/Indigenous Peoples of Australia share one of the world's oldest surviving cultures, I wanted to share their stories - their genre being labelled the dreamtime or the dreaming - and legends with others, part of the reason why I chose it. - however I am not of First Nation descent but have fact checked these stories using reliable AUS websites! These stories are also thousands of years old, so isn't that cool?! ☼ acknowledgment to country In Australia, before any large gathering, assembly or meeting we always give an acknowledgement to country, and as my theme is based around the dreamtime, I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodian of Australia, and pay respects to their elders, past, present, and emerging. I would like to thank them for these stories they've created, which I am now sharing with everyone else. ☼ navigating my app! at the start please read the text boxes, and click to progress, after that click on any of the 'clickable' objects to see my answers - rainbow serpent - about me frog - experience rock formation (3 peaks) - genres & excerpt brolga (bird) - time dedication birds on a branch - time managment moutain range - collaboration emu constellation - one quality kangaroo - atmosphere & checkboxes ☼ links & more forum version <3 https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/8144381/ ☼ credits: music - didgeridoo music by Alexander Blu sounds of australia by unknown author stories - the many first nations tribes around australia and torres strait islander tribes as well. art - koala graphic, screen with koala, thumbnail art from online - kangaroo involves a layered image art in application part - by me code - by willow thumbnail and design - done on canva, ibispaintx by willow thanks to the hosts - congrats rockie and alana! and to the amazing swc community special thanks to finley for motivating me whilst I made this app <33
