The note reveals that it was Hades who had killed Crescent's sister, Snowfall. All the while Hades had been blaming Crescent for Snowfall's death for the past few years. And the note shows the rest of Hades' plan, which is to kill the Eigion Warden at the party she left to. Crescent rushes over to the party to try and stop her mother, but it was too late. They fight, Crescent wins, and now Crescent has to deal with the fact that she had murdered her own mother.
