Something about Bill and Dipper's first few interactions in Sock Opera makes me think about inherent transness. especially with the note about the water tower in Journal 3, Bill's false promise of what Dipper wants could be viewed as a promise to let Dipper be just a normal boy, but bill is manipulating this to get what he wants. The water tower note, especially the part where bill says if he went through with it the townspeople would simply think dipper had lost his mind ties into what trans people often end up with when in unsafe and unaccepting environments. I can't go into detail here, but bill says he intended to throw the dipper off the water tower while controlling him... yeah. anyways, Sock Opera and Northwest Mansion Mystery remind me of i saw the tv glow, hence the music. why did i just write a paragraph about why dipper is trans helpme. that scene in the manor episode with the talking mounted heads freaked me out so bad when I was younger rip dipper you would have loved I Saw The TV Glow
