1st entry: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1053022925/ ₊˚⊹♡ hi hello!! it's me again w another silly project yippee ₊˚⊹♡ soo this is the last entry for this guy!! i might add some more art later if i have the time :] ₊˚⊹♡ i always like making very traumatic backstories lmao-- but i think that includes every artist ever Cinder was born in a small village, where everybody knew everybody. She used to help her parents in daily chores, every day being more or less the same. Cinder eventually grew tired of this, but she knew that complaining wouldn't get anything done, so she just kept on helping and helping because there was just nothing else to do other than go to training and, from time to time, play with their friends. Since they were a kit, Cinder had always imagined what it would be like to explore The Outside. This was because no one had ever dared to cross the forbidden border. But deep down she knew, that her species are born with curiosity, and had heard of other cats wanting to explore further. So, they started to come up with a plan, because every day just seemed like a never-ending cycle. She wanted change. Something different. One day, they decided to draw a plan in order to escape. She knew that there were guard cats that guarded every one of the borders. Everything else was an enourmous wall made out of wet dirt that was imposible to climb or break. They had thought out a plan that might be leave her to freedom, or an inmense punishment and a possible lockdown. She'd met up with one of her friends, Pebble. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He sighed. "Cinder, you /understand/ how dangerous this is, right?" "I do. And?" "Don't you get it? Stop being so stubborn. It isn't going to get you anywhere but caught." [...]* "So you'll help me?" "No." The words pierced me like an incoming attack. I wish I'd listened to him. If only. "Fine." I snapped. "I'll just do it by myself." I wish I could've said goodbye; I wish. I just never came back. "I'm sorry- I-" I didn't hear the last of him as I determinedly rushed towards one of the gates, surprised to not find any guards. I did, however, hear him shout "guards!" as I rushed out into the open forest and out of anyone's view. It was peaceful. Birds sang. Suddenly, I heard rustling coming from one of the bushes. Scared I'd been caught, I hid behind the first tree trunk I could find. I gingerly peaked, only to find a snail. It was... pink? It was faster and bigger than the average snail, and I was determined to follow it. After some time, it led me to a darker path, where sunlight barely reached the forests' ground. I was starting to get uneasy, that's when I lost sight of it. I gasped as someone squashed it, pink liquid oozing from the snails corpse. I looked up. An identical figure to mine, but instead it had a pink tail and whiskers. They looked at me. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Everything was surreal, the ground now turning black and white, mildly glitching. There was no more trees, no more grass, no more birds. Just an empty space all around me. The cat in front of me also seemed to be glitching, and their voice was distorted. "I should've listened. But it was too much, you know? It all went out of control, just because I thought that my power was endless. I fiddled with it. Just for fun. Until I realized that /it/ held all the power, not me. So when I decided to take it out of the picture, everything went wrong. Everything became an inexplicable form of reality. So I chose to save the only place I had ever known for my whole life." I didn't know what to do. I just kept looking at them. At /me/. The sudden realization that the cat I was looking at was me, made me scared of myself. I didn't speak. I sat there, unmoving. Tears started to form. "No. Dear, please don't. It's my fault. I'll make you forget everything, return back to your village as if nothing ever happened, okay? I'm sorry." Cinder awakened in her bed, and looked around. She woke up, another day of chores awaiting her.
