These lands were once beautiful like the rest of the planet, however being so remote they were perfect for experiments the public shouldn't know. If you come across a location like this, then it’s guaranteed you'll find an underground lab either abandoned or still functional. Due to chemicals used with carelessness, they’ve seeped out into the environment and since it was a delicate ecosystem it quickly withered. Now, all that's left are dangerous mutated animals and experiments prowling, and sentient plants just waiting to take your life.
