OBJECTIVE: Race your opponent to the other end of the Race Track, and steal the VICTORY!. STRATEGY: Math equations will pop up at the top of the screen. Every time you send a response for an equation, you may get a Buff (Boost) or a Debuff (Slow), based on whether you answer the question correctly or not. You will also have to wait one second before the next equation pops up. But be careful, as your opponent also has the ability to give you Debuffs or give themselves a Buff. Be sure to answer the questions quickly, and accurately. HOW TO BEGIN: To launch the game, click the Green Flag at the top left corner of the screen (when in fullscreen mode). Then, wait a few moments until the end of the countdown, and start racing! WHAT TO EXPECT: After clicking on the Green Flag, you should see a countdown in the middle of the screen.ce the countdown is completed, you (purple) will begin to race your opponent (blue) to the finish line. If you get there first, you will see a VICTORY title cover the screen. If you aren’t the first one there, you will see a DEFEAT title. BONAS: Don’t forget, your opponent may not always be very easy. Sometimes, the game may seem unfair. That is part of its design. Your opponent is made to be a little tricky. You may surprise yourself, as you sprint passed the other, and power through the finish line! If you enjoy this game, please be sure to heart and star this project, as it means a lot. Thank you! <3
This is a Math-Based game that began with the idea of racing across one of those "Place-Value Charts," but was then changed to a simple number line. I have combined many things that I have learned over my coding career into this project, and I hope you enjoy! This was a project assigned to me by my English teacher for up to 10 points of extra credit. It took me way too long to come up with this idea, and even longer to make it come to life. I thank anyone and everyone who has helped me through my coding journey, and making my first "graded" coding project was a lot of fun. With love and passion, - SafetyTheCoder
