--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No. It couldn't be. Girls don't look at other girls that way. What's wrong with me? Liam watches me stare at her for a couple seconds until he waves his hand at my face and suddenly I turn an huge shade of red. "you good?" says Liam. God this is embarrassing. "oh yeah, I'm great." I say. "well you zoned out for a minute there." he chuckles. At least no one realized I was looking at her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I heard back to my dorm. Today I'm supposed to get a new roommate in my dorm. Right now it's a pretty large dorm and its shared by like three of us, me, Alexa, and Haley. Honestly, roommates can be a little annoying sometimes, but it's the movie nights and pizza parties that make it worth it. I head in to unload my stuff and lie down on the couch- I can't stop thinking about her. "Hey!" says Alexa. Alexa is a tall brunette girl who is majoring in acting, Shes pretty cool. Shes kinda the chill but also sweet friend out of the three of us. "Haley ordered pizza and were gonna watch some 90s rom coms, Haley said that she wants to make the new girl feel at home." says Alexa. "It seems kinda weird to me- we've never even met this girl and now shes gonna live with us." "Alexa, don't worry about it I'm sure Haleys idea was for the best, we want to make her feel welcome." I say. " I do have one request though." "what?" asks Alexa. "can we pleaseee watch ten things I hate about you, its so iconic." I say. "Ask Haley, I've never seen that movie." says Alexa. And at that point I'm pretty sure Alexa will never survive as an actress- Jk She is amazing and will always have this natural talent. I wish I was more like her. Beautiful, successful and knew where her future was headed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Haley is scrolling through her phone watching Instagram. I'm lying on the couch with Alexa arguing about what pizza to order. And suddenly we hear a knock at the door. Haley is in the kitchen so she answers it. The girl stepped in. "Hi!" she said. And faster than the speed of light I realized it was her. The same girl Liam called sweetie was my new roommate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She was wearing the same outfit she wore at Bree's bites. She had long blonde hair with magenta highlights,for makeup she wore a small amount of mascara with eyeliner at the top of her eyes + pink lipstick and light pink blush. Still didn't look like Liams type but dang- she is beautiful. I honestly wonder how they were set up, I had been wanting Alexa and Liam to get together and all of a sudden Liam just finds this angel and gets rejected. What chance do I have? Do I even really like her that way? my mind swirled with thoughts and it seemed like time froze just for me to process this. "Hi! I think I saw you at Bree's bites today. I'm Quinn." She says to me. "Hey! Yeah I think I saw you there too, I'm Adrianna by the way." I say. Even under pressure as a girl trying to train her way to an "it girl" I know how to make small talk. "So the pizza should be here soon and we're gonna watch our favorite 90s rom coms." I say. "ohh, sounds fun! We should watch ten things I hate about you. It's one of my favorites"she says. I find myself blushing "Same, I agree we should watch that one tonight." I say. "Great, I'm gonna head to my room and set up my things real quick" She says as she walks over to her new room. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I walk to my room. I need a plan. How do I impress her? I doubt she's looking for a French tutor. I doubt she enjoys pop music, she seems more like a punk rock girl. But I can't make assumptions because that's just plain rude, maybe I just be friends with her and then when we get to be closer friends I'll tell her about my feelings- maybe? I think about it in my head and that seems like the best bet. Just get to know her for now. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We spend the rest of the evening as planned, watching movies and eating pizza. I continue being friendly with Quinn for the rest of the night. We all were so tired that the four of us all fell asleep on the couch while watching Haleys movie choice. I wake up around 8am, shoot, I'm gonna be late. I arrive at Mr Darren's class, looking pretty good, I can rush if necessary, as I said before, I'm good under pressure.
