Q1. Who's your favorite artist? (just based on their art) A. @retro-mushroom, her colored lineart is unique and soooo pretty and her colors and markings are so soft and yummy looking (odd way to describe it but it's true lol) Q2. Who's your second favorite artist? A. @CloudyEcho probably but I also really love @MythtopianPegasus’ art, they’re soooo talented Q3. Who's your favorite horse (or one you really like, if you can't decide) and link? A. Spice (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1062250813/) I'm not sure why I love her so much, she's not a really flashy color or anything but she's just so cute and she reminds me of my first heart horse Sugar. I also love Caspian who's the buckskin pinto on like five different thumbnails lol Q4. What art program do you use? A. Sketchbook Q5. Would you use a different program if you could? A. nah sketchbook ftw, it does everything I want and I don't really want to spend time figuring out something else Q6. If your art suddenly became perfect (however you picture that), what would you draw for first? A. I would do an AT with someone with absolutely gorgeous art (which I already do, but I would feel extrrea deserving of whatever gorgeous horse they draw for me) Q7. Do you ride irl? A. oh yeah, I own a horse who I'm starting under saddle and I ride at least once a week, once with a trainer and I also ride my barn owner's young gelding sometimes Q8. If you ride often, what horse are you riding most right now? If you don't, what's a horse you remember riding? A. I ride my trainer's TB, her name is Naughty and she's a granddaughter of Secretariat, which sounds like something someone would make up but it's true lol. I love her sm, she's super forward unlike the lesson horses and she trots and canters just from a voice cue. And she goes fast which is super fun, but she also tries really hard and has more buttons than the other horses. The only thing I don't like about her is that she makes it super hard to practice my two point because it makes her want to take off lol. Q9. What's your favorite horse breed irl? A. I'm going to be basic and say Thoroughbreds, they have so much personality. All of the TBs at my barn are awesome, they're so entertaining and are all a little tricky in different ways. Q10. What's your favorite horse breed to draw and own in HP? A. Gypsy Vanners, if you haven't noticed I really lean towards drawing floofs lmao Q11. What's the most unusual horse you've ever seen? Rare color breed etc A. A Clydesdale came to a clinic at my barn. He was 16.3hh which is considered small for the breed and his feet were bigger than my face it was awesome. Q12. What's some horse knowledge you have that you're proud of? A. I know a lot about horse genetics! For example, this horse ( is a flaxen liver chestnut roan snowcap, so e/e _/_ (you can't tell with chestnuts if they have copies of the A/a agouti gene) F/F sty/sty RN/_ LP/LP PATN1/n Q13. What would you most like to add to your barn? A. Most of my barns are still unposted but a background would be amazing Q14. What's the most HS you've ever had? A. Probably something like 180? I've never been very rich because I don't charge a lot for my art (and need to take frequent breaks lol) and it doesn't help that I see a horse I absolutely need every few days Q15. If you had unlimited HS, what would you buy first? A. Tack for all my (fittable) horses from because their tack is GORGEOUS but I don't always have enough money to buy as much as I'd like from them (not to say their prices are unreasonable, the quality of their tack is great and I think their prices are justified I'm just poor lol) Q16. How often do you check in on Scratch? A. Way too often, I don't check when I'm at the barn or actively doing something like taking care of my pets or doing something outside but if I'm just chilling like every 15 minutes I'll check if I have any messages. Q17. What's something you don't like about HP? A. A big reason I went inactive was because people were being reallyyyyy possessive of very unspecific ideas which I thought was silly because a whole part of scratch is getting inspiration from each other (hence the remix button). Of course exact copying isn't good but saying something like "oh you can't make model horses because I was going to do that" is just plain silly imo especially because people would threaten to fine each other and it was just a whole mess. But that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore thankfully! I'm pretty happy with HP right now, although I'm a little concerned that our studio host will go inactive (no shade to her ofc). v cont v
Q18. What would you like to see more of in HP? A. I don't have a great read on what's common and what isn't since I just came back, but I would love to see more shows. I'm hosting one rn, but I really want my horses to get some ribbons and my judging process is too opinion based for me to fairly enter my own horses. I hope other people enjoy it though :) Q19. How do you feel about the amount of horses you have? A. I probably have too many, but I have a lot that I love. Ofc that won't stop me from buying more that I love lol Q20. Are there any things about HP that confuse you? A. The artist permission thing. When I left it was beginning to become a thing but now everyone does it, but what I don't know is if it's a rule or just an unspoken thing you have to do. (To be clear I don't disagree with it at all I think it's a very considerate thing to do I'm just confused on whether it's a rule or not.) Q21. What's your favorite kind of sale/giveaway/contest to host? (e.g. normal sale, auction, DTA etc) A. OTAs for sure bc I get a disproportionate amount of stuff than I would if I sell or auction the horses just with HS. I'm going to start working on one soon once I finish up ARs. all questions are by me. this isn't an official HP survey, it's just for fun. I would love to see people remix with their answers :D you're also more than welcome to ask me any more about horses or HP, I'm kind of tempted to share a horses I've known project with like 13 horses so lmk if that would interest you ok time to go to sleep now fr
