Hello everyone! I think it’s safe to say that everyone has seen the current countdown. I must say, I am appalled, this is disgraceful and unacceptable. Of course, we will not be ignoring this. We have decided on a suitable punishment: A week long timeout. Please note that this is not negotiable; it will happen whether you like it or not. We have chosen this not just because of the current countdown number but the fact that the studio seems to be falling apart. The whole month of August was filled with way too much drama, both caused by trolls and our own members, and a ridiculous amount of inappropriate comments. Some of these trolls were curators. I can confirm that every single decrease of the countdown has been the result of a member breaking one of the rules. I understand that some people were getting banned for ‘mass-reporting’ but that isn’t an excuse for not ignoring them. I strongly believe that the drama would have ended earlier if you would just listen to us. It seems like you are incapable of reporting and ignoring. Even after being told by several managers and curators, you decided to ignore us and spread the drama further. Some people who thought it was appropriate to ‘Deal with the situation personally’. Harassing the troll will only get you banned and won’t make the situation better. The fact that some of you are blaming this on us is genuinely concerning. How dare you try to blame this on the managers? This isn’t our fault. Again, we told you multiple times, but you chose to ignore us and interact with the trolls. Words cannot describe how disappointed we are. Of course, there are some of you that haven’t done anything and I thank you for that. Still, we believe that the studio needs a bit of downtime. We have a rules studio; I made a list of things that break our rules. Please check them if you are unsure. “I didn’t know” will not be taken as a valid reason. The countdown will be lowered. If you genuinely think that we made a mistake, that’s fine! Please remember that we are human, we make mistakes just like everyone else. If that’s the case then politely tell us or ask in the rules studio.. The timeout will start at 12pm BST on Thursday and will end a week later. After the timeout is over, the countdown will be set back to 10. Any sort of spam, hate etc in our notifications will lower the countdown. Using any of the official studios, projects and accounts to bypass this timeout will also result in a decrease in the timeout. Feel free to use them appropriately during the timeout.
