Scruffbag: (Smugly laughs/snickers) Narrator: “Scruffbag’s getaway, planned or unplanned, worked. Clutching her bag of food harder, Scruffbag worked her way through the skinny alleyway that the buildings towering over her created, until she reached a wall's dead end… or what most would think is a dead end”. Scruffbag: “Ugh, where’s the…? Where’d it go!? (Whispering/Confused) Narrator: “What Scruffbag was looking for was a crate, a crate that would usually be right where Scruffbag stood, acting as a step to get over the “dead ends” wall. Instead what she saw was a weirdly spray-painted “S” in shades of blue, pink, and purple.” Narrator: “Scruffbag looked at the spray-painted symbol for a moment, confused, then looked back at the obstacle in front of her, and slouched her back in defeat”. Scruffbag: “(Sigh) Screw it..” (Defeated/Slightly Annoyed) Narrator: “Putting the paper bag in her mouth, and securing it between her teeth, Scruffbag began to scale the wall. The tight bricks didn’t make things any easier, and after failing (and falling) several times, Scruffbag backed herself up and went for a run and jump”. Scruffbag: “Here we go...3…2….1!” (However you feel she would sound, but make it muffled as she still has the bag in her mouth) Narrator: “The jump was barely enough to make it to the top of the wall, but Scruffbag managed to roll herself over, landing on the other side with a harsh fall”. Scruffbag: “Oww….” (Hurt, but not major injury. Still muffled.) Narrator: “Just as Scruffbag stood up, a voice came from behind her”. Inky: “Who are you? You’re not supposed to be here?!” (Confused/Surprised) Narrator: “Scruffbag turned around to see a girl - dark skin, hair in a messy braided ponytail with pink dyed (or maybe sprayed) at the end, and spray paint cans that surrounded her feet. A little taken aback by the girl, Scruffbag took the paper bag out of her mouth and pointed at her". Scruffbag: “What’d you mean ‘I’m not supposed to be here’?! YOU’RE the one who’s intruding in my hang out, MY overpass right now, and even worse you're vandalizing it!” (Imitating/Angry) Inky: “You don’t own the overpass! Besides, isn't staying here illegal?” (Angry/Comeback; However you feel she would say the last sentence) Scruffbag: “Isn’t what you’re doing a crime as well?” (Snarky/Smug Comeback) Narrator: “The graffiti artist's face flushed. She stopped working and turned to Scruffbag, who now had a small grin on her face.” Inky: “I-It’s not a crime if you don’t get caught!” (Stammering/Still slightly angered) Narrator: “Scruffbag’s grin widened as she began to walk over to the spray-painter.” Scruffbag: “That’s the phrase I live by. By the way, whatcha makin-.” (Casual/Confident) Narrator: “Scruffbag viewed the symbol. It was the exact same one that stood where the crate had disappeared”. Scruffbag: “Hey…your symbol.” (Trying to figure out/Realizing something) Narrator: “Just as Scruffbag reached to touch the symbol Inky slapped her hand away.” Go to Notes --->
