Title: Come on Ezra ****** "Viaaaa! We're gonna be late to the assembly!" Lilly called from the other side of the bathroom door. "Why do you care about being on time to an assembly???" I whined. "Because they said it was important!" She yelled through the door. "And they would be?" I asked "Teachers!" She answered. I looked in the mirror, something was still off. "Okay, okay. Give me a second." I replied. Ah! That's what it was! I put on my mother's golden necklace she has given me for my 13th birthday. I walked out the bathroom door, "Okay, I'm ready!" "Finally!" Lilly replied, already half way out the door. ****** This. Is. So. BORING!!!!!! And to think Lilly wanted to be on time to this. "Are you as bored as I am?" I whispered in Lilly's ear. "Maybe." She answered, only half paying attention. I turned to my left, Julian got a spot next to me, and guess who got a spot next to Lilly. That's right, Ezra. "I'm waiting for SOMEBODY to make a move" I whispered into Julian's ear. "I know! Ezra totally likes her!" He whispered back. We both giggled. And Lilly looked at us like we were crazy. ****** "Ugh, glad that's finally over." I groaned once we got out of the gym. Lilly, Julian and Ezra all laughed at me. "It wasn't that bad!" Lilly laughed. "Ummm, yes it was." I answered. Lilly had to go ask her math teacher something and Ezra followed her. It was just me and Julian. Honestly, it hadn't been just us for a while. I mean, technically, we weren't alone, but still. "Hey, Hot-shot." Said a voice from behind us. "Ughhh, stop calling me that Mateo!" I groaned. He just laughed in response and walked off with his friends. "He drives me crazy." Julian said. "Huh?" I said. Nobody EVER bothered Julian. "Yeah, he's annoying." He said. "Oh, I didn't expect to hear that from you." I answered, honestly. "What do you mean?" He asked. "What I mean is," I paused and took a breath, "No one ever bothers you." "You think so?" "Only your mom," I said, then smiled, "And me, of course." He laughed. "Looooooooooooooooook." I said, pointing over to Lilly and Ezra. "Oh dang!" He answered. "I wonder what their talking about." Julian said with a smirk on his face. I matched his expression and said, "Probably just planning out their wedding and deciding on their kids names." We laughed so hard we both started crying! Lilly and Ezra even walked over to see if we were okay! "What happened?" Ezra asked. "Oh," Julian answered once he'd stopped laughing, "Not much." He smiled at me.
