Title: This Is Wrong, I Know It ****** Previously, Me, Lilly, Genna and Lark we're having a great time in Ms. Willowmena's class, who is Lilly's aunt. There was some low key fl!rt!ng on my part and Genna's too. And everything was going great, until we walked out into the hallway. ****** I couldn't walk. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't see. My vision was blurred and my brain wouldn't work. I heard Lilly, and Genna briefly speak, but they must have been in as much distraught and shock as me because they didn't say much. I heard nothing out of Lark. I looked to my side and saw Ola's purple hair, and heard her voice, "Via, Via. Look at me. Are you okay?" I barely understood her. I couldn't respond, but I wasn't okay. I dared to look up, but instantly regretted it because what I see makes me want to cry. At the end of the day every day, a TV above the lockers plays the Auradon news, and today there was breaking news. "That's, that's..." I felt the tears in my eyes. I felt Ola's hand on my shoulder as we stood in front of the TV. "Welcome back to channel 13 news, today's breaking news shows attacks on the outer Villages in the Village Kingdom ruled by Pocahontas and John Smith," The reporter spoke, "Though their main village was not attacked, the outer Villages were deeply scared from the damage done by an unknown source." Another report stepped into the picture, "They left threats to attack the kingdom of Corona if the Village Kingdoms don't give them what they want, but it is unknown what they want." This information didn't make me or Lilly feel any better. I felt my legs ache, I could hear my heart pounding into my ears, my lungs felt like they could explode at any second. "Via, Lilly, guys? We should get going." Genna spoke softly. I just started at my childhood home burning to the ground, my people screaming, and graffiti commanding money and riches everywhere. "Yeah, we... we should go." Lilly spoke. ****** Lilly and I made it back to our dorm. No one spoke. But what was there to say. My people and her people were now living in fear, and anyone else who didn't know what was going on. Neither one of us dared to turn on the TV. Knock, knock. Someone was at our door, but my legs felt like jelly and I couldn't even fake a smile, so I didn't move an inch. Lilly got it. "Hello?" It was Ezra and Julian It took everything in me to stand up and walk to the door. I tried so hard to smile, but there was nothing left in me to smile. "How are you guys?" Ezra asked softly. "We'll be okay." Lilly answered quietly. I just started at the ground, I felt like crying my insides out, as gross as it sounds, it felt so appealing. "Why don't you guys come in?" Lilly asked, even though I knew she didn't really want them to come inside. I looked at Julian, I had almost forgotten, his village was near the attacks, but not damaged. I would ask him if he was okay, but his soft smile glowed in my face, and I had a loss of words. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked. "I..." I whispered, "I don't know." Before he could say anything more, there was another knock on our door. This time I got up to get it. And boy, if Julian wouldn't have stood up and stood next to me, I would've screamed to the top of my lungs and rage like crazy when I opened the door to Willow and Catherine. My gaze locked into a hard cold stare. Catherine opened her mouth to say something nasty, but was interrupted by a voice from behind me. "No Catherine," Ezra snapped coldly, "I think you chose the wrong time to show up. You should leave before you regret even considering coming over here." Lilly looked like she had just seen a ghost. Ezra was like SO SO SO SO nice, so that fact that he just said what he just said shocked us all. Catherine and Willow had a loss for words, or so it seemed, but they weren't leaving. "I would listen to him if I were you." Mateo said as he rounded the corner of the hall. That was all they needed as someone who could actually put them in their place told them to beat it. "I didn't need your help." Ezra murmured. "Well, you're welcome." Mateo said with some unhappiness on his face. "I'll talk to you later then," Julian said, and walked out of the room. But he was the last person I wanted to see go. "I'll go find out what's wrong with him," Ezra stood up and followed him out, "Bye Lilly!" I thought it was cute that he only said bye to Lilly. A little bit rude, yes, but otherwise, pretty cute. Normally, I would've teased Lilly about this, but she already was having just as bad of a day as me, so I kept my mouth shut. "So, I umm heard about your Kingdom..." Mateo started, "I don't know what I'd do, so I can't even imagine how you're feeling right now." When I didn't say anything he kept going, "That being said, if you want to be alone, I can go." "I..." I couldn't finish my sentence. "We need a little space," Lilly said, stepping in at the perfect time, "But if you give her your number, she'll message you when she's ready."
CONTINUED- He nodded and handed Lilly a paper with his number on it and walked away. Lilly shut the door, "Thank you." We both hugged each other. I had to continue the story in the "Notes and Credits" Section because apparently my story was too long. Thank you's: @Lilly-Fizherbert for being Lilly and for being my bestie :)
